We had a new front door bought and installed by Sears. The door is beautiful. We are extremely satisfied. The company was good to work with and kept us informed when the door would be ready to install. The project turned out great!

Took 7 months from time we ordered to the time we received. Took 2 more months to install, and had to find our own installer. Now they are telling us warranty is null and void, cause we had to take matters in our own hands. We suggest you find a local company in your area.

Skipped my service because I missed their call with no voicemail by 10 minutes while I took my dog outside. Meanwhile they gave me an 8am-6pm arrival, They didn’t even go to my house. Now they can’t come until next Saturday and IM going to continue to pay my ridiculous bill. Don’t waste your time with them if you don’t have to. Most companies with First American are terrible.

I needed a new unit put in because mine went out in July with 100+ temps outside. I was told I was on the "rush" list & was next in line. It took 2 weeks with no a.c. before finally getting all correct with several phone calls, messages & emails before getting my new unit in. George, the original sales rep that got out was great..very sweet & seemed concerned. Although all staff was nice, I would have appreciated more communication throughout the process. Might I add...I paid for the new unit in full & still, it took that long. I recommend them only if you're in no hurry but if you need help NOW (or yesterday), like I did...I recommend going elsewhere.

After signing paperwork, it took over 2 months to get supplies ordered. The lack of communication between the company, installers & myself was less than desirable. I took a full week off of work (like they asked me to) and kept being told that the supplies and installers would be there Monday. They supplies finally showed up Tuesday afternoon and the installers finally showed up on that Friday morning and told me they did not receive notification that the product was delivered. I had to make several phone calls during this week and each time I left a message I would not get a call back. A full week of no pay for nothing besides a lot of frustration. If you have lots of time and money to waste use SEARS, otherwise try another company. SEARS communication with the client is almost none, unless you are lucky enough to get someone to answer their phone when you call.

Ice maker in Samsung refrigerator has been broken off and on for almost a year. Today, I received a “new” replacement which after checking was broken/USED. I took photos to prove my case that mold was inside of the ice maker and the only letters still visible were c M e for Ice Maker. I have tried to call our case manager, Henry, with no return call or email. He responded because of my previous review and promised to have this matter resolved. That was 6 months ago. Today, after I called (Sears call center is located outside of the US) they claimed the call had static on the line and then hung up. DO NOT USE SEARS HOME REPAIR OR BUY EXTENDED MAINTENANCE AGREEMENTS. If this review helps one person it was worth the time. The company that installed this part ordered by Sears (they sub out most of the work) tried to apologize (not their fault- they can only install what Sears orders and mails)even stated Sears will give you the run around until the warranty ends!! Lost a 25 year customer and any I can warn! Buyer beware- DO NOT BUY APPLIANCES FROM SEARS!

New HVAC installed Nov. 2018. Went to be inspected and failed because electrician " forgot" to get the permits. Project manager will not return calls, and then has a bad attitude once you reach him. Called April 15th about a smell coming from unit. After talking to several people they finally said someone would be out in 24-48 hours. Now almost a month later and no one has shown up. The HVAC quit running altogether this morning. After a phone call ( to someone NOT in the U.S. ) they said someone would be out in 24-48 hours. Where have I heard that before ? Now playing the waiting game...... I will NEVER buy anything from Sears again. Really poor service is really hurting Sears and what little image they have left. So, don't deal with Sears, no matter what.

they don't deserve a star at all, in fact if there were negative stars mine would be in the millions. The quality of product and service that you receive is degrading. They expect you to pay tens of thousands of dollars and they do not supply what you order. They lie about everything and especially Ryan Doutt, In order to post this a star had to be given. It is not by choice.
