Spencer Air Conditioning & Heating

Very easy to schedule upkeep with Spencer. We have had no problems with the system, which has kept us comfortable (and has been energy efficient) since it was installed two years ago.

This is only the 2nd review I've ever written, but I felt compelled to take the time. I first started using Spencer to service my old HVAC unit a couple of years ago. Last year, my system needed replacing, and I got several quotes. Justin from Spencer came out, spent lots of time with me and explained WHY I needed what he suggested that I needed. And his quote was incredibly reasonable compared to several others. I trust this company which is the highest honor I can bestow to a service type company. As a consumer, I want things fixed that need fixing and I know that Spencer will take care of me.

So after having a big name AC company call in and install a completely new system in my home several years ago, I had always defaulted to calling their techs for AC issues. It has been a hassle for awhile. When my AC went out this past weekend I tried calling them out again. Once all was said and done I was left needing major repairs that my usual company wasn't going to be able to even quote me for until Monday because they only have dispatch in their office on the weekend (still haven't even had a call back from their office even as I am writing this at noon on Monday)

After the hassle that was my Saturday morning, I figured I would call around at least for some price comparisons. In the time it took for that company to even get a tech out and inspect my AC problems, I called Spencer's. I went from dispatch, to tech, to manager with a quote and a timeline on when I could get the work done within 2 hours. Spencer AC & Heating arrived when they said they would, got the work done, and had me rolling in AC before that other company even tried to follow up with me.

Spencer AC and Heating operates like they want your business without the hassle and for that, they get my 5 stars.

I used Spencer heating & air to do a full replacement of my HVAC system. They offer fair pricing and great service. From the office staff to the installers everyone was absolutely amazing and I highly recommend them.

Spencer Air Conditioning & Heating were able to come out the same day that our A/C went out during one of the hottest weeks in DFW. David was professional, communicative, and taught us other steps we could take to prevent a similar incident from happening again. Pricing was fair. Will recommend to others in the area.

Justin was extremely helpful and honest about every part of the business that he does. He answered all my hard questions about the systems and pricing options without pressuring me to choose one I didn't need or want. I was also over quoted by another company and he gave me a reasonable estimate the first time which everyone can appreciate. He came out as a second opinion to my first quote and gave me great perspective about getting a new unit. I recommend working with Justin and Spencer Air.

I wrote a review last year when Spencer Air came out and helped us with some A/C distribution issues upstairs. This year they came to the rescue for us with a MAJOR issue. They were able to work through a warranty issue along with getting our unit up and running again - finding a part and getting it shipped overnight to minimize our downtime. They are very helpful, give good advice for on-going care (by us) and are so responsive. I highly, highly recommend.
