Spencer Air Conditioning & Heating

I've been with Spencer since 2004 and I had a problem that befuddled Spencer. A Carrier representative pointed out to Spencer to install a new Inverter. I went over our 10-year warranty specifying the parts covered under warranty with Carrier. Unfortunately Spencer charged us for a compressor in 2019 that was covered under warranty with our carrier. They also charged us for a sensor module that shut off are air conditioning thirty-one times in 2021 to be exact. This sensor would display, "system 86 sensor fault" and shut off our AC unit. Everyone in the Dallas-Fort Worth area is aware of how hot a summer we have experienced and July is not over.

After Spencer installed a new Inverter last week the system functions like the eleven thousand five hundred dollar system I purchased from Spencer in July of 2014. I haven't talked with Spencer about being charged for these items that were under warranty yet, but it's on my agenda.

What a fantastic company! They worked with our wierd schedule, they exceeded our expectations, and were ahead of time. Beth was great to know from the Coppell Chamber, Justin was easy to work with, Oscar David kept the team together and worked efficiently. Fantastic customer experience!

Well they never came out or reached out to explain the situation. So for that that's a big NO for me.

Just leaving this review to share my experience. Jeremy was the tech who came out. Jeremy was wonderful. Kind , professional. Unfortunately the pricing system from the top not so much.
Over the phone was told it was 150$ to have someone come out. Fine. Agree to that on short notice especially in a winter storm. Jeremy came. Nothing wrong he just noticed the filters needed to be changed which we changed 59$ a piece for 2. At closing I was given a cost of over 520$$$.
Breakdown was 150+ (59x2) and a surprise 250$ charge for them to come out and inspect. Ultimately a surprise 250 I was not aware of. We were able to argue 100$ off of this but still a significant charge. Great technician , poor front end communication. Would not use them again, and if you choose to make sure the disclose all pricing up front.

They showed up on time and were very knowledgeable. They sent a video to show me the issue as well as a receipt that explained the issue. Which is great, so I could show my husband as well as the HOA, since it ended up not being an issue with my unit. I would use them again!

Had to call Spencer Air Conditioning out due to a failing thermostat and no heat today and their professionalism from the time I called until the time David Cummons, the technician, left my place were nothing short of the best. Appreciate you help today! Thank you!

Spencer was recommended by a general contractor that I have used and trust. They responded promptly. They charged a reasonable price and were very professional. I have a son in Minneapolis in the HVAC business so, he verified the reasonableness of the price and proposed equipment. Highly recommend them.

I got quoted and charged an extreme amount from another company so I started looking online for other companies and Spencer is the first one that I called. The lady I spoke to was so nice and patient with me and then a few minutes later, I get a call from Justin saying he is on his way to take a look at my system!! WOW right? He was great and super easy to talk to and understand. Fast forward, the job got done within a few days and I havent had a problem since! Highly Recommend!! Thanks, yall!

Spencer has always served me and my other family members In Irving well. Both their on-the-phone (thanks, Tammy!) and in-person interaction is accommodating, friendly, helpful and professional.

On this particular visit, Ray (who has assisted us before at my family’s homes in Irving) was efficient and very personable. I’d recommend him and Spencer, in general, to anyone.
