Been a customer for a few years. Recommended to friends and family during that time and they are also still customers. Honest and professional work by techs and managers who take pride in their work and customer relations. Commercial and residential I have used Smart Air and will continue to.

Smart Air was the most trustful with great knowledge and workmanship as a company, I would recommend them to anyone that needs any type of air conditioning or heating service. Their fees are very affordable.

Of course our heater stops working during the one first and probably only cold weekend in Houston!

Called SmartAir a little after 8AM on a Saturday. Jay was here before 11AM and was exceptionally professional. We explained the problem and he discovered it was not a big issue.

Jay took the time to put my wife and I at ease that the issue was “normal course” and not a significant problem with our furnace. He also explained some operating suggestions for our new home, as well as reminding us to add carbon monoxide detectors for safety, something that we easily forgot with the litany of things to do settling in.

Total cost was much less than I had expected in my mind and very fair, especially given the weekend and on such short notice.

Would recommend to anyone needing HVAC work, and we are confident we found our go-to HVAC company going forward.

Technician spent roughly 5-minutes looking at the system before coming into my home and announcing I was 25psi low on pressure and needed to spend about $6,200 on the “cheapest solution” possible.

We started to talk details and I asked what he thought about refilling the system to see how fast the leak was. At that point he went on a roughly 1-minute rant during which he cursed in front of both my wife and two young children.

When I confronted him on his unprofessional behavior/language he basically denied it and ran to his truck and drove off. It was a tremendously awkward experience.

One positive - the consultation or service call was free.

Smart Air was wonderful! We recently moved to Houston and are not really familiar with central air. Jay not only fixed the A/C problem, but walked us through the likely cause, and gave us a general course in A/C 101. It is scarey moving to a new area and finding great service providers- Smart Air is A plus, plus- we are so happy.

These guys installed an AC unit for me 2 years ago that is still running well. They came out to my house right after the Harvey flood to check out my AC system to make sure it was in good shape. They have also come out to answer questions and check things out.

Extremely helpful, knowledgeable and honest people! Our AC acted up on us again, and the technician (what a great guy!) was here within an hour! Took him about 15-20 minutes to pinpoint and fix the problem. No pushing, no trying to sell anything, saved us tons of money, for which we're really grateful. My HVAC system failed in the middle of the night leaving us scrambling in the morning to find someone to come out before the midday heat. Laz from Smart Air made it out within just a few hours, diagnosed the problem within minutes and completed the job promptly. Laz was very friendly and knowledgeable and took the time to explain exactly what was wrong with the system. There was no hard sell, he simply laid out all of my options and allowed me to make an informed decision. When inevitable the next part of HVAC system fails in this Houston heat, Smart Air will be my first call.
