Been with Rocky Top for years. Always professional from the office staff to the techs performing the service. Charlie is great. Very informative. Great customer service from all. Highly recommend.
The two gentlemen that came to my home from Benjamin Franklin Plumbing to perform a home plumbing inspection we’re very professional and knowledgeable. Were really good at explaining and answering our questions. Overall great communication and customer service.
Followup: We have been a customer with Rocky Top Air for several years now. And we are well pleased with their service. After our first initial contact with the crew from Benjamin Franklin Plumbing, Tommy and Jim. We decided since we needed some plumbing work done to go with them. They did not let us down. Very pleased with the quality of work and service. We highly recommend Benjamin Franklin Plumbing.
Company is very unprofessional and does not value your time. They displayed a total lack of communication and from what I understand a total lack of care. I've now lost two days of work dealing with this company and they never showed up. Any working man or woman can see how frustrating thisany working man or woman can see how frustrating this can be. Customer beware.
I am a local small business owner for 20 years and take reviews for my my own business very seriously! It's really difficult to find a service company of any kind these days that you can honestly feel they truly care about the service they are providing. One Hour Air and Ben Franklin plumbing have succeeded! They have been excellent on many service calls I have had, and are very consistent with their scheduling, communication and billing. Their Technicians have been clean, courteous, informative and professional. It's refreshing to do business with a company that has genuine integrity. Keep up the good work and we will see you next time we need help. Thank you
Rocky Top Air has taken care of my heating and air unit for about 3 years. All that have come to my home are usually early for the appointment and very courteous and reliable. I would recommend Rocky Top Air to my friends.Rocky Top Air has been servicing my heat and air unit for several years. They remind me when they need to check my unit to see if it is operating well or may need something to help it work more efficiently. They are always courteous and on time. I would recommend Rocky Top Air to anyone.
Very friendly and professional office staff and technicians. Quality service and people. The service techs are always polite and professional. They listen to any concerns and do what they can to take care of any issues. I like that my service plan also includes plumbing inspections. I had a few minor issues when one of my systems was installed several years ago (manufacturing issue) but they took care of me and did everything they could to make it right.
Horrible place to work, treat their employees like trash.let multiple people go a week before Christmas in 2018.crooked ppl at the top.fired 8 of us right in front of all the other employees with no good reason all of us were great workers.very unprofessional ppl and two faced!
I needed to have my outdoor A/C units disconnected and moved for a pad to be poured. Later the units were put back in place and reconnected. Rocky Top's price was more than half the price less than other contractors in the area. Everybody I dealt with at Rocky Top were great and very helpful. You'll be very happy to have done business with them!
We have been customers of Rocky Top Air for a long time. When we first called them, we thought our unit was on it's last air. They saved it and maintained it for a lot longer than we thought it would live. When it came time for a new unit, we bought a new unit and we are very pleased with the contract we have for keeping it going. Rocky Top technicians and office staff are very professional and we recommend Rocky Top Air for all your HVAC needs.
I have been a loyal customer of this business for quite a few years and have been generally pleased with their service. In 2014, they installed a Trane package unit HVAC for my downstairs space. I have followed their recommended maintenance inspections and servicing as recommended over the years. Recently the downstairs unit stopped producing heat, except for the emergency heat function. I called their office and they sent a technician the next morning. He diagnosed the problem, which was a hole in a small copper tube in the TXV (thermostatic expansion valve) resultant in a refrigerant leak. I confirmed this for myself. I asked if the part would be covered under the ten-year warranty, but he gave some reason that made no sense to me why it would not be covered. His proposed fix was to solder over the leak in the pipe at a cost of $1,300. I said no thanks and that I intended to get a second appraisal. The charge for that visit was $135. I called the company to voice my opinion about what I considered to be an exorbitant cost to repair the unit. The lady who answered the phone apologized and said she would ask the service manager to give me a call. I never heard back from anyone.
One of my neighbors owns a local heat and air company. I asked him if he would mind to have a look at the unit. He recommended replacing the whole TXV unit. I showed him my warranty and he said that, yes, it was covered. So, I agreed to have him take care of it, and in a couple of days he had the part. Two of his employees completed the job, which took somewhere around two to three hours. The charge was $900 and everything is now working fine. Needless to say, I will not be using Rocky Top Heat and Air in the future. Without passing judgement, I will just let my experience speak for itself.
