    First guy came, didn’t have the right part…
    Second guy came 3 days later, had the part but wasn’t able to install it, took the part to the shop…
    Second guy came again the next day and installed the part, now the house is smelling gas.
    I called to ask them to come back and check, they say next availability is in 3 days…
    Guys, there’s a risk I have a propane leak in my house and you ask me to wait 3 days…come on…

    The service technician was right on time. I received updates on when he would be arriving. He explained clearly about the work that he was doing and what I could expect.

    1. During my last service, the tech removed the old air filter and did not replace. Once discovered, it explained why my asthma has been so bad and I had to dust twice as often.
    2. My water heater broke on Saturday. I was told the earliest they could install would be Tuesday at 8am, even though I have a service contract which is supposed to give priority service. On Monday at 5:30pm, I got a TEXT, not even the courtesy of a phone call, that they couldn't get me in until Wednesday. I could have had a friend install for half the price yesterday. Very disappointed. Not sure I will renew my contract.

    This will be the last year I get a service plan through UGI. They're now run through a 3rd party, HomeServe which is terrible to deal with. I bought UGIs most comprehensive service plan and have paid $450 or so for the last 4 years since I have an older AC and wanted protection.

    My AC attic unit is difficult to access so UGI would never go up there for a yearly cleaning, which is fine because I was assured over and over for the last 4 yrs that I'm still covered if anything happens.

    Cut to last week, I have water dripping through my ceiling and my attic pan is overflowing with water. A tech came out and said he unclogged my drain and the should fix it. He left the water pan in the attic (which is definitely accessible) full of water. I had to later siphon it out myself so it wouldn't continue ruining my ceiling. The AC drain that he fixed drips about 1 drop every couple seconds yet my water pan continues to fill up a couple gallons a day. I called again today, the agent decided she'd rather argue with me than send a tech out again to see if it's still clogged. Then hung up on me mid conversation. I waited for her to call back but no luck. I called back and another agent scheduled me for this evening. I waited 4 hours tonight only to find out that they apparently cancelled the call by email hours ago and never bothered to call me to explain why.

    They came when it broke. Got heater running again. Ordered new part. Did a good job replacing it.

    Ever since going to Homeserve it's been nothing but a horrible experience. I have the comfort deluxe plan that covers my A/C,Heat and tankless water heatrer at $59 month.It took 5 service visits,5 calls to customer service, 4 calls to speak with a manager to resolve the issues until I finally talked with one and then when you'd think the issues were resolved,same thing happens! Sum up the first 4 visits by your techs -show up,ask me what they are there for (your the professional ,you don't know?) tell them ,then they tell me they don't see my tankless water heater is covered and don't have the necessary materials.Then continue to bash their scheduling and sytems. Nothing gives a customer confidence in a company like there employees basing everything about them. So on the visit after speaking with the manager the tech shows up and said he's confused on what he's here to do ,I explain again and he proceeds to do service(1 hr for 3 systems when in the past was between 2-3 hrs) then leaves.No paper work ,no feedback on anything.I call in and ask why he didn't go outside and clean the compressor like in the past and the manager said he should have.So they send someone else out to clean it.Terrible experience and the last time I will use them.I'm left feeling like they didn't do everything they were supposed to do.I want all the money I've paid back and will never use this service forom them again! Stay away from them,trust me!
