    We moved from the Reading area to Ephrata and had furnace problems. I didn't renew my maintenance contract since I was really busy and wasn't sure if they supported propane furnace in a manufactured home. They did and when I called this morning the tech arrived at 11am. He diagnosed the problem within 30 minutes and got us running. We had used a local company and they took five days and never resolved the issue. The furnace is 16 years old and needs to be replaced, which I will only trust UGI to take care of. I also made sure my maintenance plan was paid for the year.

    We had UGI natural gas in our old home for 19 years and had the maintenance plan for six years. Well worth the cost for complete piece of mind.

    Sales rep gave us a price for a new furnace on 1/6/2020 and they installed it today 1/8/2020. You can't ask for better service than that. Unfortunately we found that the condenser-coil is bad and since the a/c is just as old, they will come back in late March to replace them. Not what we wanted to hear but at least we know what we are in for.

    I needed a new gas furnace and I had a few of the area companies come in with a bid. UGI won the job with a more thoughtful and detailed estimate with better value for the job required. It started with Comfort Consultant Benjamin Valdez and his assessment of my needs. He was very professional and courteous but more importantly forthright with faults in my HVAC system. I did my homework and all the things he noted as issues were indeed real problems that would have a big impact on a new furnace. The other companies never mentioned these issues. His estimate was longer and he explained things to me while also listening to my needs. He also did a load calculation for the estimate in front of me while other contractors did not seemingly care to do this for my estimate. UGI are lucky to have him on their team. The install went very smoothly and Benjamin sent out extra work crews to get the job done during a busy Thanksgiving period. The tech guys were respectful and listened to all my questions and did a professional job. I recommend UGI for all your HVAC needs and I will use them again for a new AC in the summer. I am very happy with UGI.

    I called to see if I had a gas leak. It was leaking from an old shark bite. I was charged $240 by that guy to install the shark bite. He did find and fix the gas leak. He did not diagnose my problem and left me with no heat 20 degrees. Then I called their plumbing department and they sent me an HVAC guy twice instead of plumbers to fix a leaky expansion tank and put in some new rubber fittings. Still freezing in my house on the 4th day.

    Extremely fast response for our service call. Our technician (Rob) was knowledgeable and did a great job. So glad we have a service contract. Anyone without one should sign up for a service contract today. Faster response times when you need service and a discount on parts and labor. The best $$ we spent since buying our new home.

    The tech arrived when he said he would be there (honestly much quicker than I expected) and was very friendly and knowledgeable. He found and fixed my problem in no time on a very cold day when my heater wasn't working. We've had a service contract for several years and highly recommend having one.
