Charged me 170$ to "diagnose" as a show up fee but did nothing towards maintenance while they were there. They essentially popped off the cover on the furnace found some loose insulation inside the furnace and did nothing more. No cleaning, no cleaning of the flame sensor, nothing! For that price at least do a maintenance while your there. No value with this company. I sure as hell won't use them again. I probably would have been a lot less irritated if they would have discussed pricing beforehand or stated the price. The services that I did ask the technician what the price of when he was there I never got a clear answer to. It was good they left the cover of the furnace off so I could clean it as i did find damage that wasn't pointed out to me. Even if the price was going rate they should have been upfront about it. What I wanted was a bid for a new fan motor and pricing for yearly service on the unit or possibly start yearly service immediately. I realize now that should have been accomplished over the phone. Instead I was defaulted into a mediocre diagnosis. I never learned the price of either. Doesn't matter I'll go elsewhere.

Ultimate came back out to take a look, diagnosed the issue, and explained that we could fix it ourselves. Ok, we like saving money and it seemed simple enough. A few days later, a new issue popped up so we had Ultimate come back again. On this third visit, the technician was at our house for no longer than 5 minutes, determined that it was an issue with the thermostat and just told us to get a new one at Home Depot. So for the second time, Ultimate was only telling us how to fix the issues instead of fixing it for us....despite the furnace having zero issues prior to their first visit and the tune-up. The new thermostat didn't solve the issue, and we ended up calling another company to move forward. I really want to like Ultimate, but they just disappointed us with their service.
We brought out Ultimate Comfort to diagnose our existing HVAC system, which wouldn't cool the upstairs of our house. At their suggestion we split that floor of our existing system and installed a new heat pump upstairs.
Once the work was done and paid for, we discovered that one room had simply been left off and not connected to the new system. Since then, we have been trying for four months to get a fix and Ultimate Comfort has been unresponsive throughout. After multiple phone calls they will finally send someone out, who will diagnose the issues and say that they will be in touch to schedule work. I then won't hear anything for a month, will call repeatedly to try to follow up, and the cycle will repeat. We have done this for four months without any improvements. We are left with one room not on the right system and the new system generally missing the set mark by 5-10 degrees.
At this point the warranty service we have received makes it clear that Ultimate Comfort's priorities changed as soon as they received our initial payments and they are no longer interested in providing the service that we contracted them for -- we will most likely be moving on to another company to try to fix Ultimate Comfort's mistakes.
Lincoln was on time, very professional, thorough, knowledgeable and cleaned up every thing. She provided me with sound advice on continuing maintenance to get as much life out of the unit as possible, and also with some good options for replacement when the time comes. I liked her honest approach and feel that her advice was very trustworthy. I strongly recommend Ultimate Comfort and Lincoln to every body.
We called Ultimate Comfort to perform some a regular furnace maintenance at our house. Our furnace is in the crawlspace (not the easiest place to work), but the tech did a great job servicing the furnace.
As the tech was finishing the job, she bumped into water pipe stub and it snapped off. (This copper pipe was previously scored in some sketchy repair job and it snapped clean off). The technician called the office and the company owners came out the same day to repair the pipe at no cost to us. The level of service was above and beyond; the owner and the manager that came to fix the pipe were extremely friendly and got the job done quickly.
Their office staff is always responsive and their techs are personable and get the job done in a timely fashion. I will definitely call Ultimate Comfort again for my HVAC needs.
We have used Ultimate Comfort for several years now to service our furnace and AC. We have had minor repair issues over the years. Recently during the intense heat wave our 20 year + AC decided to fade they were responsive came out quickly and luckily it was an easy fix. Their technicians are qualified and detailed and their scheduling team are great too. I highly recommend this locally owned, trustworthy, reasonably priced shop!
Another great experience with Ultimate Comfort, the company who did the installation on our water heater and furnace. Just had them out for annual tune-up, and their technician, Derek, did an excellent job. We were given an appointment window of 12-2, and he showed up at the very early end of that window. He was polite, professional and thorough. I expect nothing less from Ultimate Comfort.
I am so impressed with the quality and price of my AC unit. It was a very professional and timely install and I couldn't be happier with their work. The technicians were professional and extremely courteous.
The office staff was awesome scheduling the work and follow-up after the installation was done.
I have had nothing but great service at two different residences from Ultimate Comfort. They have been super-responsive whether it be a basic tune-up/inspection, emergency service or new furnace install. Scheduling and communication were easy, they were always on time, very knowledgeable, professional and reasonably priced. All their technicians have been a real pleasure to work with. I would definitely make sure you give them a call when you need an HVAC professional.
