Shawn was excellent and kind and very informative on helping me during a time of a costly repair to my air conditioning unit. He gave me sound advice on how best to solve the problem and I appreciate his honesty. I have been working with the Weather Masters for many years now, and I receive great customer service overall.
Update: I am updating my review from earlier today due to customer service truly going above and beyond to address my concerns in a quick and courteous manner. The thunderstorm last night caused a power surge in my area and damaged my zone board. The technician Lukas came to my home sooner than the scheduled appointment. He was professional, quickly identified and resolved the issue. Thank you Lukas for your awesome customer service. Also, thank you Susan for contacting me this morning better explaining the policies and moving up my appointment today. You are awesome as well. Thank you Jim for quickly responding to my review this morning and getting your team involved.
I’m extremely disappointed right now. My a/c unit warranty is suppose to be covered under my home builders warranty. I just found out from customer service my warranty was only good for the first 12 months of new construction. It’s now 6 days past the 1 year warranty and my system has completely stopped working already. This is a new unit in a new construction built home only 12 months old. I had to call customer service twice just to request service. The representative stated b/c the warranty has expired it will be a $79 service fee plus $185.00 to extend the warranty. I ask out of good faith could they waive the service fee this one time since it’s so close to the expiration date of the builders warranty. I was told unfortunately they cannot do that. To add frustration to that I called before normal business hours to schedule an appointment. The representative advised she will have someone call me back so a technician can come to my home today. Now I’m being advised someone won’t get to my home until tomorrow evening between 1-5pm, plus I have to pay for the service fee, warranty fee and possible additional costs depending on the issue. I do understand life happens and there are guidelines with warranties, but out of good faith considering my home builder has contracted with this company to install HVAC systems in numerous communities, could they at least work with me in waiving the fee being it’s less than a week my warranty has expired. Again, this is extremely frustrating and disappointing
Great experience yesterday. Young man (I’m sorry - as I age I forget names) arrived who was friendly and very knowledgeable. When I asked him to explain what he was doing to fix the dampers, he had the time for me. He enjoys what he does and that is hard to find today. Great attitude and attention to detail. Your company displayed its trustworthiness through this man.
I was so impressed with the service I recieved by Weather Master's service technician Cody today. He provided a thorough and quality inspection both inside and out of my home's AC unit. Cody was very knowledgeable and went above and beyond to explain the functionality of the unit and rationale behind the issues I was experiencing. Most importantly he was genuine and helped me prioritize the repairs that needed to be done without trying to over sell me on services. I would highly recommend Weather Master's to others based off of my experience. Hopefully you'll get Cody or atleast the same level of service.
Tom helped me by explaining what a weekend or late hours call entailed. I was very anxious about the faucet being broken but after his explanation what I could do to get correct help we succeeded in getting my sink back in working order. He did quality work, he kept his word on date and time he would contact me. I love talking with him and am pleased with the results. Thank
The wrong part was ordered, so now we have to wait till they get it sorted out. Will update the review when they finish the job. UPDATE: They got it sorted out and came back the same day to install and get us up and running. I will say that Maureen is one of the best customer service reps on the phone. She made it happen. We're back to happy.
Kevin your Sr. Tech is very customer focused and really knows his stuff. Detailed and very thorough while troubleshoot and does a great job of clearly explaining the problem and fix. Even promised to follow up next week. Brandon the other tech was very good too.
Andrew called 30 minutes prior to his arrival as promised. He was personable, respectful and easy to talk with. He explained his findings well, shared photos of the area of the system that are hard to get to and reviewed my options to resolve the problem. He let me know that I could reach out to him at any time with any further questions or concerns I may have. I appreciated his candor and felt like I was cared for. Very professional employee with exemplary customer service skills!
Andres was prompt, professional and accommodating. He flushed our hot water heater, inspected all the plumbing throughout the house and in the crawl space, and cleaned out two sinks, shower and tub. I highly recommend Weathermasters and ask for Andres for all your plumbing needs.
