Finding the right HVAC company is difficult. I heard about Prime Comfort from a friend's recommendation, and we've been using them for several years. They are great to work with. They communicate and show up ready to work. They are respectful of your property and wear masks. Adam Hurst was our technician this recent time. He did great.

Lance and the team at Prime Comfort saved the day when our AC went out on a 100 degree day! Barbara was kind enough to hook me up with an early appointment after another customer cancelled. Lance diagnosed the problem, explained it to me, and was able to confirm I had a warranty...(saving me money!) and ordering the parts to arrive as fast as possible. He returned the next morning to do the job and return comfort to our home before the holiday. We are so thankful for the prompt, professional work of Lance at Prime Comfort. Prime Comfort will be my new go-to for all my air conditioning needs.

Really enjoy working with this company! They are very transparent and explain all details thoroughly. My experience is that the pricing is reasonable as well. Prime doesn’t just come in for the quick buck but rather cares about building up rapport with the customer. I really appreciate how quickly they were able to solve the problem and also take the time to look at other concerns I had. I will be using them again.

We recently chose to replace the ductwork in my house and hired Ken and the Prime Comfort crew for the job. From day one, when the general assessment of the ducts was made on Prime Comfort's behalf, Ken was professional and answered all of our questions, following through with everything he said. Unlike a recent experience that we have had on the property with a different contractor, these guys were diligent, detail oriented, and, above all, very professional from start to finish.

Prime comfort has been very responsive to our needs in the following months as well. They've promptly showed up to fix issues we had with our older A/C unit and went above and beyond in providing us with great service. We are very pleased to have hired this company and will continue to do business with them going forward as a result of our great experience, smooth and painless. I have had 2 really good working experiences with Prime Comfort and will continue to use their services in the future. The first visit was to fix my heat when it was not working and the second was for a replacement of an air conditioner. Not only did Prime Comfort give me good prices for all of the services/equipment that they provided, they were very honest and transparent about the work being done.

Their first visit to my home came after 2 other HVAC companies had given up on fixing the heating unit. Instead of giving up and telling me the same thing that the other 2 companies did ("oh, the heat works when we are here, not sure why it doesn't after we leave"), my Prime Comfort technician escalated the issue until a final resolution was achieved. The issue had to do with a tiny fuse that had blown out in the furnace switchboard which was very difficult to see without magnification. After they replaced the entire switchboard, I have had no issues with the heater since then. Prime Comfort was persistent + focused on getting the work done and done well. They have fantastic customer service as well (hi Barbara!).

The second visit was for an AC unit replacement. Not only did they give me a great price for a quality unit (they carry Trane), all of the work was done in a very timely manner with the utmost professionalism. They are licensed to install units in SC now which is a huge bonus and I absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for HVAC maintenance, replacement and repair.

I would give this company 10 stars. Every person I delt with went above and beyond what I expected. I had gotten an estimate from another company to replace one of my AC units. The estimate was done for the wrong unit. I ordered through Prime Comfort after meeting Chuck and being impressed with the free 2 year maintenance for not only the new unit but my other two 13 yr old systems! The installers realized I had ordered the wrong unit and stopped their work. I had screwed up and they could not have been more kind. Ken, the service manager, came out immediately and within 48 hours I had a new unit installed. They serviced the two remaining units, replaced a switch on a heating unit (that another company had bypassed), replaced the insulation on the tubes exiting the house and too many more little extras to list! Ken and his crew were always on time and professional. I am very pleased with the service I received and their pricing was better than other estimates.

I had an excellent experience with Prime Comfort today in Charlotte, NC. I called them a few days ago to set up an appointment to have my furnace checked. I spoke with Ken, who was very helpful in scheduling my service call. The two technicians, Brian and William, called in advance before arriving. They quickly examined and discovered some unit and duct work problems. They took pictures of the problem areas, and we discussed the work to be done. We also discussed the option of replacing the 21 year old furnace. But at no time was there any pressure to do anything. We settled on the repairs needed, which they did in short order, and at a very reasonable.cost. Thank you Prime Comfort, for a job well done. They are my goto guys from now on when I need more hvac service.

Update on 11-04-21

Needed a service tech to come out and find out why I had no warm air coming out of the furnace. Called Barbara, who is extremely nice, and she scheduled Adam to come out. He discovered that a gas valve was stuck, so after trying to fix the stuck valve, the only option was to replace it. The part was in stock, so we set a time for Adam to come out and replace the valve. He called about 15 minutes before his arrival, which I like, and did the repair in a timely manner. So yes...another 5 star experience from Prime Comfort. Thank you Barbara and Adam.

Our AC was installed by another well known company less than 2 years ago and after having less than acceptable service and communication with them, we chose to get Prime Comfort to come check things out for getting us prepared for the season. During the check we learned the installers (previous company) didn't do as good as we'd originally thought and the fan needed to be replaced (warranty)-- and now our system is running like it should have been all along. Bryan Phongsa was the technician who serviced our unit and we'll be totally certain to be sure to have him do all our service work from here on out. Excellent service and totally fair pricing. We couldn't be happier with our choice of Prime Comfort!

Great customer service from the first call. I called them for a second opinion. Their tech identified a major issue with my furnace that the other company missed.... and found a minor gas leak! Unfortunately I needed a new furnace but they discussed other options and I could tell they weren’t just trying to rake in a sale. Their pricing is competitive and they don’t nickel and dime you for extras. They also offer great financing options.
Buying a new furnace is never fun however, I feel confident in my decision to trust Prime Comfort and would recommend them immediately to anyone.
