UPDATED REVIEW - On the same Friday stated below someone was in the area and made time to come check out our AC unit even though his schedule was full for the day. He immediately found the issue both in the attic and outside. He was super polite & professional and apologized for the other guy not fixing the issue on the first visit.

It’s been 3 days and our AC is working great.

ONE STAR REVIEW - We paid for the service and the tech game and just added Freon to our unit. When I asked him to check our attic he said he didn’t need to because he found the problem. He also said he didn’t check for a leak but would come back if it did end up leaking.

The next day, AC is not working again. It’s Friday and now they can’t send anyone out until Monday.

I have a 4 month old baby and now we’re are going to be without AC over the weekend. I’m very upset and disappointed.

Our warranty company contracted Comfort to conduct an Inspection on our hvac which had stopped blowing cold air. I was out of town on day of inspection and the tech met with my elderly mother who lives with me. According to my mom it was pretty quick.
The tech pumped in a few pounds of coolant and a seal. The cold air started to flow again. He said to my mother that if it stopped working to call and he left. After speaking with my mom I was pleased with the interaction and optimistic. This was Friday the 16th.

Within 12 hours the system was not functioning properly and the unit inside my house froze and started to leak water. I was not aware. Calls were made Saturday but went unanswered and messages were left but no return call was received. We reached back out Monday and the same tech came out again on Tuesday. Again, I was not home but he said we had a serious issue because now both of the panels were fried and there was real risk of electrocution. The system was shut down and it hasn't been turned on since.

At this point he said the coil needed to be replaced, the system was failing, possible black mold exposure, water damage, eletrical issues and so on. Ultimately, he said we needed a new system and it wasn't worth repairing. Then he left. I had no intention of making a decision before warranty company could review his diagnoses and inform me of what was covered. But his diagnosis never went in and a different tech had to come the following day to complete the assessment. According to my mother she pointed out that the lights on the panel were off onthe initial visit Friday. So pumping in the coolant was never going to fix the issue and only compounded the problem. On top of that detail another day lost.

Later that night i met with a sales representative and got a quote. I vented. He listened. Nice guy. Informative. Not pushy. I could see potentially buying from him. He said I'd get a call from comfort to set up an appointment after the warranty company reviewed the diagnosis. Monday showed up and no call was received.i can't fault comfort for this as it appears to be a disconnect with the warranty company. When I did speak with comfort I was told the part wasn't ordered and we had to pay $525 for a modification and $199 for something else. I agreed to the repair and the part was ordered. I requested overnight shipping and was blown off.

I reached out to the warranty company and told them about the extra charges and they informed me the $525 was legit but the second was not and I shouldn't pay it. It was at this point i began to question comforts trustworthiness.

As I write this, the part I requested overnight shipping for remains undelivered and I have no visibility. Just the blanket 3-7 business days statement. I didn't have the best interactions with the parts department(long hold, followed by a call back after needing to look everything over with a supervisor). Parts department really conveyed complete indifference and 1st tech blowing through the initial diagnosis spurred the review. Usually i would wait until the job is complete. I hope to update after they have had a chance to actually do some work and fix my issue.

Always been pleased with this company until we ran into issues with our unit. After installing a new compressor we were left with some surprises such as bolts and wires laying around our unit. Highly disappointed that the gentleman couldn’t clean after himself but instead left things around that could’ve simply been throw away.

I am writing a review for Hope, who is a dispatcher. I have not had my service yet, if my tech is as professional & efficient as Hope I will be thrilled. It is not often you receive great customer service like I received from Hope yesterday. I was so upset & she calmed me down immediately. Her kindness came through & that does Not happen too often lately! Please recognize her talents.

Shamari was our service tech for a pre-summer AC tune up. He showed up on time and was very professional and courteous. Explained the diagnostic process and what was going on with our system. This company should have him training new hires on how to do it.

Horrible Response time. They ordered the wrong coil replacement and we are still waiting for a replacement. Left several messages for an ETA and no one called back. Heat pump/AC is completely shut down after +2 weeks of waiting.

My home warranty assign them to fix my hvac. The first technician that came out wasn't properly prepared. He attempted to climb in my attic without the correct size ladder. He fell on my brand new dryer and dented. He left without apologizing. The manager had to finish the job and now waiting on my dryer to be repaired.

We moved into a new home and shortly after arriving the HVAC stopped running. We have a home warranty and the response was serviced by Adam Hurst of Comfort First . Adam was arriving late in the day and met the commitment to arrive even though the average work day had ended. Adam identified the issues and worked to resolve. After 4 hot days we were very pleased with Comfort First ad the chosen company but especially Adams kindness, quality and efficiency. This is a difference maker to those looking for a company that supports excellence as part of their model as we experienced.

Don't use the tune up service its scam. The guy came and broke my working heating unit. I reached out later to complain and they won't take responsibility and want me to pay them to get my heating unit fixed which they broke. I am going with someone else. Very unprofessional and unethical.
