More recently, we’ve worked with Steve, who is probably the most knowledgeable technician we have come across and who has kept us well informed about the equipment and industry. I was recommended Patterson by a coworker and very glad I listened. A few days before a snowstorm and below freezing temperatures, my heater decided to quit working (terrible timing, right?). Susan and Karen dispatched Tony to my house the very next morning. Tony was the most friendly, helpful, professional service tech I have encountered. Tony took the time to describe the problems with my heater, show me pictures and dirty/damaged parts, and teach me how the system worked. Not knowing anything about HVAC myself, I had full trust and confidence in the repairs Tony said I needed. Tony completed all repairs in a tight attic space and never complained. My heat is working perfectly now and I will absolutely recommend Patterson (and Tony) to anyone looking for HVAC repair in Charlotte. To keep my system in working order I decided to sign up for the maintenance plan as well because I was so pleased with Tony's work with Patterson. Thanks!

I live in Ashbrook-Clawson Village & I have been with Patterson Heating & Air Conditioning for years ever since my father referred me. He used them many years as well in his home near Freedom Park.

Susan, in the office, is very nice, responsive, knows her customers - and "stays on top off evverything" in the office. She makes sure you are paired well with a tech., which she just did in choosing Tony to come to my house today. He diagnosed a refrigerant leak in the semi-annual maintenance of my AC/heating system. He made sure where the leaks were before leaving, so that the part would be ordered & I could get my AC fixed as soon as possible. I really appreciate all this - with the very hot weather already being here (in the mid to high 90's), and it still to be here for months.

This whole company is extremely professional and reliable. Both Samantha and Susan were very polite and assistive on the phone. Our technician, Chris was very informative, knew the issue right away, and didn't try to overcharge us. They showed up sooner than expected both times, and were very pleasant to work with. I highly recommend this company for both residential and commercial services.

As you will see in other reviews of this company, Steven is an A+ HVAC professional. He walked me through each one of his HVAC tests, and provided me with best practices for HVAC maintenance; as a new homebuyer, this was extremely helpful. From call to fix took less than 4 hours. The service member (Tony) was extremely personable, and thoroughly explained the problem and presented very reasonable options for repair. I will be using Patterson for my HVAC needs going forward!

Stephen Balcaitis was the technician assigned to perform a tune up on my HVAC system. Stephen was excellent and very professional throughout the process. He answered all of my questions and provided context and details in every step of the process. He was very knowledgable and I could tell he showed a genuine interest in HVAC systems and his customers. Highly recommend to other customers in the market!
