My mother was on her death bed when our system stopped pushing out heat, it was only air. A man named Bob from Charlotte Comfort Systems said my system had a crack in the heat exchanger and had he had to shut the system down, by law. He said I needed a whole new system which he quoted at $5000. I was devastated. I didn't have that kind of money at the moment so I called someone else for a second opinion and to see if they could give me a better quote. This other company fixed my heat in 30 minutes and told me Charlotte comfort systems
had lied to me. I intend to contact the BBB. DO NOT USE THEM.

Excellent service. Last My AC was not work. I called to CCS. They sent their technician within half an hours. He was highly skilled, professional and cordial. He repaired my AC within an hour. He did not take any extra charge. I appreciate their service and thank to them. I also highly recommend them to all.

I would expect that most homeowners do not replace their complete HVAC system twice in a six year time frame, but this has been my experience. In my previous home back in January of 2009 I was in the need to replace my original system in the home. I also had a need for a larger system due to an addition made to the home. At that time I had estimates from a half dozen local companies and got as many different recommendations and prices. I meet with Glen of Charlotte Comfort Systems and he took more time and made more calculations than all the previous companies I meet with combined. CCS installed a new system in the home that meet all requirements, including a budget based on my needs. I lived in that home another four years without any issues at all with the new system. The regular maintenance was always scheduled around my schedule and the service techs ( James was out several times ) were always on time.
In my present home the heat pump and other components failed. The home came with a warranty provided by the seller and after contacting them they sent a local company to repair the system. They checked the system and I was told was "they would get back to me". Two weeks went by before I was informed that the system would need replaced. My next call was back to CCS and to my pleasant surprise I found that I would be meeting with Glen again. What it down came to was repair what is broke or replace the entire system. Glen proved me with numerous different options and cost to repair or replace. He also spent a very considerable amount of time on phone answering questions and giving explanations. Largely based Glen's information on what future repairs and/or replacement would involve I decided to replace the complete system. I took advantage of the financing that CCS was able to provide, CCS even filed all the applicable rebates for me. Robert ( who installed my first system ) and his team installed the new system in the time frame he said it would take for the installation. Robert answered all my questions and gave me good instructions on the new system.
So with all that said, I would without hesitation say that CCS is a top notch company to deal with and would recommend them to anyone in need of service, repair or replacement of their HVAC system.
Again, I say that this was my second experience, six years later with CCS, and I was able to work with the same people and get the same great service.

I called this morning at 7:30am. I said my heat on the 1st floor was not working. I also said their technician had turned off the humidifier last summer, suspecting that it could be the problem. Techinician told me today that he came to fix the humidifier and he declined to do a complete and thorough check of the 1st floor system as I would expect a competent HVAC company would have done. The humidifier was functioning well and no problem with it. The techician declined to check the system thoroughly. Too much talk and too little work. I paid them $89 + taxes. Technician complained that waited for me and he was charging me for his wait time. I had requested a phone call 30min before the technician's arrival. They called 10min in advance and when I came to my house they said everything was good, no problems were detected and they requested payment. I arrived at my house 10min after I received the phone call from your office. I feel that I did not receive any service from you nor you checked my 1st floor system if it was functioning properly. You did not take out the cover of the gas furnace and you did not go through the details to confirm my system is functioning properly. I am forced to bring out another company to properly check my system.
I am very disappointed. I regretted I paid you and the only reason I did it is because you came at my house and I did not want any argument.

We just purchased a new VAC unit from Comfort System and just had a first service on the unit. We are very very happy with the system and the technical staff that installed it. The Techniction was very helpful and new what he was doing.

Very impressed with Charlotte Comfort Systems! Our Lennox iComfort S30 thermostat went out in our house and Charlotte Comfort Systems replaced the entire thermostat system and handled the warranty on our behalf with Lennox.

We will be using Charlotte Comfort Systems for our HVAC needs in the future!
