Yes! I have my hot water back thanks to Bill K from RupCoe Plumbing, Heating and Air. Bill explained everything and gave us a proposal for the work that needed to be done. He was extremely friendly, told us the work could be done in about an hour and was true to his word.
I know if we ever need our Plumbing repaired Bill K from RupCoe is certainly the first person we'll contact. I highly recommend RupCoe for any plumbing job. Their prices are reasonable and the service is great.Thank you Bill K.

A courteous, professional and reasonably priced local plumbing service. Had a great experience with RupCoe during a distressful situation! We had a sewer line backed up and flowing sewage in the basement. I should first mention that I called Roto Rooter first, was sent to the local branch and left a message for them and I still have not heard back. I called RupCoe very late on a Friday night and left a message requesting to schedule a plumber in the morning. I received a call at 7:15AM the next morning from a very helpful and courteous woman from RupCoe to confirm that I still would like service and that she would schedule the next available technician and would call me right back with an approximate time. She called me back in 10 minutes that a tech would be to me in about a half hour. The tech (Steven) arrived at 8AM, met me and went right to work. He located the source (which was the house trap) and thoroughly cleaned it out. I had asked him if they are able to be hired for the large clean-up job (as I have a ton of storage items that have been affected) as well, and he said they only do the plumbing, but could refer me a company who would work with my homeowners insurance (whom I hired after this visit - DryTech Restoration). After telling Steven that this isn't the first time this back-up occured, he advised me of a way to remove the house trap and put in a straight pipe with a check valve, which would eliminate future occurrence of a house trap backup. He cleaned up after himself, wrote a proposal for the house trap removal / straight pipe install, and wrote up the invoice for the services rendered. The bill was much less than I was expecting for emergency weekend service. All in all great experience!

I called for a free estimate to replace my water heater. I scheduled an appointment with the lady over phone. After sometime the lady I talked to over phone called me and said that the person is on my way. When I said that he will call me when he is at my door right ? She just said 'No' . I was asking how will I know he is at my driveway ? She rudely hung up the phone. Very unprofessional. I don't know if I would do business with this people. They haven't got my job and this is their attitude. I won't recommend these people.

RupCoe has been outstanding: I own a home construction business and RupCoe has been there for my customers and me personally. Just today Rupcoe was at my customer where they diagnosed a problem at a remarkably fair price. Thank you Tom! At the same time, John from Rupcoe is at my house fixing my boiler - very attentive service and extremely professional. You will love these guys!

Brian & Howard arrived at the appointment on time to perform the maintenance check, and were both very courteous. Although out furnace has a little more issues than we wanted to hear, the reality is our furnace is getting older, and both Howard & Brian were very knowledgeable in explaining the issues, were very patient in answering my questions, and reviewed the pricing and several options in great detail which we appreciated. We've been a customer of RupCoe for the last few years & overall are pleased with their work and service.

Our hot water heater wasn't working, so I called Rupcoe as it is under warranty with them. They charged me a service fee for coming out and all the tech did was explain what the error code meant, something that they could have helped me with over there phone and not charged me for. The tech was on and out in 5m. I will hesitate to call again.

The second floor kitchen pipe broke during the night of the snow storm. Frantically trying to shut the water off and clean up the mess I called the number of plumbers it was 6 p.m. in the evening with a foot of snow on the ground. The only plumbers to respond where rupcoe. They told me that they would have someone at my house in a foot of snow in less than an hour. And they did. His name was Alex he was able to shut off the leak leave us water for the night and then they returned the next day repair the pipes and install the new faucet as per my request. Both gentlemen were efficient very clean knew exactly what they were doing and it took less time than I thought for him to make the repairs. They were friendly courteous clean knew exactly what they were doing and I would recommend them anyone in the South Plainfield area. Thank you

I've been a customer of Rupcoe and maintaining a service contract for many years. Recently, the plumbing inspection was done, which included an extensive discussion about the issue I was experiencing with the water heater. The technician was Tom; he answered every question and provided a plan as to how a water conditioner would be installed. I intend to move forward with that installation.

The technician was professional and quickly able to diagnosis and replace a capacitor in my a/c condensor. I authorized the work at a $300ish replacement charge. Total bill was $498. The poor rating is for how the central office tried to justify a $500 charge fpr a 30 minute service call to replace a $25 part. Their fixed job pricing policy is not a customer centered approach.

Stay AWAY !!!

If this company has ever told you that you have to replace your entire HVAC unit, make sure you get a second opinion and then read below.

If you have already replaced an HVAC unit on their “expert” advice, hope you kept the receipt.

I asked RupCoe Plumbing to come inspect my two rooftop Trane / Carrier HVAC systems (15 ton and 5 ton units) as they were not producing enough cold air.

Alex, the technician, came out.

He said my 15 ton unit had a problem with the compressor, which I already kind of knew. But he said that the ONLY thing I can do is replace the entire HVAC unit.

He said that the compressor is no longer being made and it would be almost impossible to find it. He said that I really had no other option except to replace the entire 15 ton UNIT.

After he and I hung up, I reached out to Trane company and provided them the model number of the unit. They said that they still sell the compressor I needed. Unfortunately, they would not sell it to me without having the proper licensing as I am a consumer.

After confronting Alex with this information, he tried to walk back what he said and offered to replace the entire unit for $12,000, which I of course declined.

If you lie to me about something this major, I can’t continue working with you.

I asked for a refund and of course, being the crooks that they are, they refused.

I am now stuck with finding another company and having to pay them, again, for the service call.

By the way, he also inspected my other unit (5 ton) and told me that it also had to be replaced as it was making noise and the wrong freon was put into the system.
