We’ve had our share of disasters with a 1956 renovated Cape in NJ. And sad to say, most plumbers/electricians/HVAC people are a total scam.
RupCoe has been really great, honest and upfront. They even helped us out when WellDuct destroyed our AC while “cleaning the ducts”. ( see my review for them)
We’ve been really happy with Tom!
It’s been tough to find companies a homeowner can rely on- Rup Coe is one of them for sure.

The technician, Derek Metaxas, was very professional, confident in his work, and clear as he explained the options available for installation. He removed and replaced our broken sump pump after heavy rains and some flooding in the basement. He did a very clean job in a timely fashion and resolved our problem.

Ryki and his team at RupCoe Plumbing & Heating are knowledge, honest, trustworthy and reliable. As a local business owner, I recommended them to help one of our customers who had a plumbing emergency as their hot water heater broke as we were servicing their basement. Within an hour they had a team helping fix the plumbing emergency. They really went above and beyond.

RupCoe installed my A/C a few years ago, so I called them when it stopped producing cold air.
Pros: They showed up on time and fixed the problem.
Cons: They charge an $80 Dispatch Fee for showing up. Unlike with any company I've ever dealt with, they do not apply the $80 to the cost of any repairs they make.
The problem was my A/C needed a dual capacitor. This can be purchased anywhere for $20 or less. They charged me $317.60 to replace it. They were at my house for a total of 40 minutes. For the 2 guys that were there, that works out to $200 an hour on top of the dispatch fee. When I questioned why the cost was so high, the explanation was the part was guaranteed. So I'm paying for a replacement part and the labor to replace it regardless of whether it fails or not. I told them I would be happy to forego the guarantee for a reasonable price on the work done. Of course, after being told someone would call me back, no one did.
Bottom Line: It's great that they did the job, but they will rip you off in the process.

If you need a real emergency service RupCoe is the way to go. Jon and his crew did a fantastic job under very difficult circumstances. We had frozen and broken radiators and pipes due to a freeze that had to be replaced within a couple of days. Not only Jon had explained the whole process in details before he started the work, he was always available to answer any questions we had. I would definitely use RuoCoe's services in the future.

We had a hvac pump leak and had to call for help. A technician John came out and replace the pump hose which was very dirty and caused the issue. John was very kind and informative, price was reasonable and the job was done quickly. Would definitely recommend to anyone that needs help with heating problems.

What's worse than having a leak in the basement? Having a leak in the basement at 4p on Friday on a holiday weekend. When that happens call RupCoe. Vicki in the office was absolutely wonderful and got Ben out to us in no time. He was very friendly and did an excellent job. I will definitely be using them in the future.

We got a tankless water heater from RupCoe $4500. and all was fine until we wanted hot water, we fill a gallon container plus more before we get hot water. Our contact said they could make it work at a set time during the day for an additional $1800.

I was very happy with the service, although certain fees set by the company are a little ridiculous...
The technician was very up front about all of the charges. He informed me that because my tub was full of water (I called for a clogged drain), THERE WAS A $150.00 CHARGE TO BAIL OUT THE WATER! He politely continued to set up his equipment while I bailed the water myself in 5 minutes and saved myself the $150.00.
The technician was neat, careful, professional, and personable. He was very thorough, and made sure that all of my questions were answered.
In the end, I had a clear running drain. BUT, it cost over $400 to basically get my clogged pipes snaked. Rupcoe is expensive and I might call around more next time for a better rate.
