If you like being ripped off, this is your company. I bought their maintenance contract for my AC unit. It promised adding Freon once a year and discount service rate. When the AC stopped working due to low Freon, they asked for $1100 just for the leak diagnosis and $2200 for repair. Nice gig if you can ping point the problem quickly. Then they convinced me to install a new unit at about $7000.00. After I cancelled the contract within three business days, they hit me $395 for phone call and $1195 for adding some Freon into the AC. My AC has been working fine after the Freon. Maybe that is exact what it needs to get the AC work.

My experience with RupCoe have been great. Had a leaking water heater replaced last month with no issues. Last week, my 25+ old furnace was leaking water. Called pseg worry free service who advised I had a rusted coil and it wasn't covered. So I called RupCoe and they sent John who explained my options in detail. On the day of the installation, my HVAC system was delivered at 7am and the crew John, Howard, Mo, and Paul was there at 8:30am as promised. I was impressed with everything that was done. This was a 25 year old system and I was basically starting new. I didn't have to mop, sweep, clean anything. The place was spotless when they were done. I would definitely recommend RupCoe.

Wonderful, professional service from the delightful phone representative to the service technician, all were a pleasure to work with. I needed emergency service as well as a few minor repairs and I was very pleased. The gentleman performing the work was prompt and very courteous. Kept me informed of what he was doing and when he expected to be completed.

We had an issue with our furnace over the weekend. The staff at Rupcoe was responsive, courteous and very helpful. Dequan and Tom both did a thorough job and walked us through with what the issues were and took their time trying to figure out the problem. The service quality and price was better than any company we have worked with in the past. We will definitely call on Rupcoe for any plumbing or HVAC concerns in the future

I had gone through 2 other companies who charged me hundreds before I finally found my saviors!! I saved THOUSANDS on my pipe repair, other comapanies wanted to charge me over 5 grand to fix it, RupCoe did it for a quarter of that! Derreck was super diligent and did a great job communicating with us throughout the process. I will never be using another company again!! P.S. they came to me all the way in Branchurg, now that's a company who cares!

Just find another plumber, predatory "house call" fees. I had the pipe between my bathtub waste tee and the trap rust through on me and it needed to be replaced. This pipe was about 10 inches in length, was in an easy to get to spot with plenty of space to work. Rupcoe came, looked at it for about 5 minutes and charged me $60 to tell me I needed to replace everything from the bathtub down, and wanted to charge me $1300 + Tax to do it. I knew this didn't sound right, so I declined the work.

I went to GPS in Edison and explained what my situation was, showing him the trap I took off and he explained exactly what I needed and exactly how to do it. I fixed the problem with a $10 part, a single peice of tube. Rupcoe wanted to charge me about $1400 to do work that a simple $10 part was able to replace. I was considering rupcoe to replace our central air system when we had the cash to do it(already have the estimate), but this experience is inexcusable. I'll be using someone else from now on.

We called RupCoe when we needed a pipe repaired in our hot water heating system. When Ben arrived to check out what needed to be done, I asked about the possibility of combining the repair with the purchase of a new furnace (which I knew we were going to need in about a year.) We ended up buying a new furnace.
The installation crew- Rich, Moses, and John showed up as scheduled. They spent the entire day making the repair, removing the old furnace, and installing the new one. Jim Coe was here as the job began and Tom Rup came by the next day to check how everything had gone. We are throughly pleased and would highly recommend RupCoe.
