RupCoe Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning

Rupcoe had replaced a steam pipe (due to pinhole leak) for me in December. The replacement pipe subsequently developed a pinhole leak in April so I called Rupcoe since these cast iron pipes ‘should’ last years not months. While it took over a week of back and forth calls to schedule a plumber to come out (not sure if they were busy or delaying since they were not going to make any money on this replacement job) I was ultimately happy with the service the team provided. The office staff are usually very polite to deal with and the plumber, Rich, was timely, professional and neat in his work. He’d come out the night before to measure the length of pipe required for the replacement the following day. So next day he quickly installed the new pipe and was very efficient. Rich is technically strong and provided options/discussion for my steam pipe system. I’ve used Rupcoe on a number of occasions over the years and overall have been happy with their service. Sometimes it’s hard to get an answer on scheduling but when they do the job their plumbers/engineers are usually personable, knowledgeable and professional. I’d recommend Rich for any of you plumbing needs.

I woke up on Sat. after Thanksgiving to find my water heater was leaking all over the floor. It was installed almost 10 years ago so I knew immediately I'd need a new one. I called Rupcoe, who I've used a couple of times before and I was promised a same day apptmt. About an hour later Derek called to confirm the apptmt then arrived within 45 minutes after that. No complaints there. Customer service was excellent, and Derek was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, obviously skilled, and very meticulous in cleaning up his work. He also patiently answered all of my questions. I will definitely continue to use their services, and I will continue to recommend Rupcoe to others.

When I needed an emergency hot water heater replacement I called RupCoe at 7:30 am, by 1 pm I had a new water heater installed and heating up! Margie and Ebonie scheduled my service call and explained how things would proceed, then called to let me know John was on his way. John gave us all our options and respective prices, then once we decided he immediately started removing our old water heater and had a new one delivered. John was neat and very respective of my husband working from home close by, and quickly got our new water heater installed. Highly recommend.

Service was prompt and Howard was very thorough and professional. He did very nice job installing my new air conditioning. He was thorough when checking everything and confirming the job was complete.
Rupcoe overall has exceeded my expectations and the office called prior to them showing up to advise me they were on their way.

Our hot water heater went out on a Saturday afternoon. We called Rupcoe and they were able to come out the next morning (Sunday). The 2 different people we spoke to on the phone from the office were very friendly and helpful. Daquan was the technician who came to the house. We had lots of questions. He was extremely patient and very informative. He had the job completed in record timing, was very thorough and wore disposable booties every time he entered the house. He is definitely skilled in his trade. We are now worry free and happy to have hot water! We would definitely recommend Rupcoe's to friends and family.

Update 2021- Our basement flooded from hurricane Ida which completely ruined our 3 year old hot water heater. Once we knew it needed to be replaced we immediately knew we would call Rupcoe and request DaQuan come back and replace it. Despite the chaos due to flooding from Ida all over NJ, Rupcoe was able to schedule an appointment within a day of our call. DaQuan came the night before the appointment to make sure he brought the correct hot water heater and he was back early the next morning to fix it. He had the job done in less than 2 hours and yet again was very polite, professional and thorough with his work. We were very pleased with Rupcoe's quick response and all of DaQuans hard work. We will continue to recommend them in the future.

This was the second time Ben has performed plumbing service at my home. On both occassions he arrived on time and was personable, knowlegeable and completed the repairs proficiently. I highly recommend choosing Ben for your plumbing repairs!

This company is absolutely amazing. Called today for a hot water replacement and they did it the same day for a very reasonable price. We've also used them to fix our air conditioning unit last summer during a heat wave, and they were so nice to send someone out with a temporary wall unit free of charge to get us through until the repairs were completed. If I could give them 10 stars I would. Highly recommend!!!

Poor customer service experience with administrator that answers the phone for the company. Rude and aggressive business acumen, not a good impression before starting any work. Will not hire or call again.

I have been using RupCoe for the last 15 years at my home and at my church. They have always responded promptly and have solved my plumbing problems. Even with the difficult issues, I felt that they thought of me first and tried to solve the problem as quickly as possible! A situation arose for a South Plainfield resident who couldn’t afford a plumber. She had several problems that were problems for, at least, 2 years! RupCoe came in immediately and took care of her plumbing issues! They were kind, caring and thoughtful, even showing up days before and after Christmas. If you want a reliable, punctual, trustworthy plumber, then RupCoe is for you! And they care about people in their own community!

Last fall we had RupCoe Plumbing & Heating install a new high efficiency boiler. It was so different from the old monstrosity that sat on our basement floor. This is actually attached to the wall so that if our basement ever floods it won't be affected! Last week we noticed a "lockout" message on the screen and called for service. John from RupCoe was here first thing in the morning to reattach a loose connection and there was no charge. Now that's what I call prompt and courteous service!
