Midstate HVAC

Mid-State is amazing. We contacted them for our HVAC in peak summer time July 7 and they had their sales rep Frank Simonetti come over the vet next day and give us a quote right away. They were the lowest price wise and they upgraded our AC unit and also upgraded our heating unit to 2 stage variable for same price. They had the fastest turn around time and came out to replace the unit in 4 business days. That’s incredible speed looking at the summer and the challenging COVID-19 pandemic.

The technician Freddy who came was extremely polite and professional. He and his team exactly knew what to do. They cleant up after they were finished working. The place was left spick and span.

We are extremely impressed by they helped us and will very strongly recommend using them for all your HVAC needs.

This service call was for the yearly AC maintenance as part of the contract. I have been quite pleased over two years of working with this maintenance arrangement, since I moved to a new residence. The tech was Jamie Patterson who continued with his usual professional, helpful, and friendly behavior.

One of the best companies I've used in a while. These guys are great but most importantly they very efficient and reliable in the work they preform, 10/10 must recommend.

Our technician, Jamie, did a fantastic job. He thoroughly explained what he was doing and patiently answered all of my concerns. After trying several HVAC companies and not liking something about all of them, about 10 years ago I tried Mid-State and have never needed to consider anywhere else. They are responsive and do quality work. Today Jamie came to do annual maintenance, and was professional and thorough. I completely trust Mid-State for all my HVAC needs.

I called Midstate to analyze my house for energy saving options for the NJ program where we get $5,000 rebate and $10,000 loan..An appointment was setup and the technician showed up on time, I was promised a proposal within a week.. Its been over a month since the gentleman analyzed my house. Since then, i have been calling them for an estimate which never comes through. . I called their office multiple times and they keep on apologizing and confirm that the estimate will be sent immediately. Still nothing!!!

They are extremely unprofessional!!!

The service was wonderful. My complaint is units. They are so loud. I had mine put in May. They came out twice because the air unit was so loud. They got it a quiet as they could. Now that we just turned on the heat it is awfully loud. I would never had gotten it is I knew how loud they were. You would think with technology the units would be quieter. My old unit was 25 years old and 20 times quieter. I would of paid more for a quieter unit. My advice check around for a quieter brand. I just wish it wasn’t such a expensive lesson learned.

AVOID AVOID AVOID!! Extremely disorganized company. Lost my survey, no call no show on install day, forgot to submit permit paperwork for 2 months, tried to blame me for the extra month in delays when permits weren’t paid for when it explicitly states they pay for them in our contract, failed to have a pressure test done on new gas line before unit was in operation so inspections were failed. The list goes on and on and each time there is an issue there is a new excuse and a new person to blame. It has been months now and I am still trying to sort out the mess they have created.

Mid-State performed a heating job for me and I would highly recommend them! One of the most impressive things about my experience is that my home was treated with respect. The technicians were knowledgeable, professional and courteous. The price point was fair and the customer service was excellent.

In order of appearance, Dewin, Aaron, Steve, Chris, Marty and last but not the least, Kevin are the best crew in the fleet of Mid-State. They worked hard, and with a smile in the all day heat. The new boiler looks clean and neat and same goes for the Stand-by Power Generator. They cleaned up each and every day and made sure that the basement door is always locked before they leave.
They were polite and very accommodating no matter how silly I can become sometimes with my questions, lots of them. They are a group of people I will, in a heartbeat, recommend to others. Brian, I also met, is highly praised by his crew. Because of Brian's professionism and patience, I stayed with Mid-State in choosing who to hire. An awesome Boss. And Rhonda, so patient with me. There's still some minor work to be done but I trust, with this company, it will get done. I don't sugar coat my words, I say it as I see it. Thank you all!
