Do not hire this contractor! MidState initially came to my home to perform a maintenance call. At that time the technician allowed Freon to escape from my outdoor AC unit. The unit later then stopped working. I called the office and Terry told me they would have to charge me a service fee. At that time I questioned her as to how we would know if I was at fault or MidState was at fault for the unit not working. Terry said the only way to tell was to send someone out. Another tech came out and explained that the only reason the unit stopped working was because it was low on Freon. I assumed then that meant that MidState would be responsible for the problem. I was wrong. Countless messages were not returned. I spoke with the owner one day and he assured me that he would call me back. He did not. Awful customer service.

Mid State I stalled an air conditioner and air handler for me during covid. I was not able to close the permit with the town for 2 years following covid. Once I was able to get it inspected, It failed inspection for something minor. Mid state responded out within 3 days and corrected the issue. All of the employees were very helpful.

We have used Mid-State multiple times for various reasons. Each time their service has been nothing short of amazing. Their techs were prompt courteous, and most importantly knowledgeable. They quickly resolved issues pertaining to both gas furnaces and heat pumps. I can’t recommend them enough. A++ service!! And also at a fair price.

Mid state replaced my entire heating and cooling system at my house back in January 2015. They also replaced my water heater. The crew was very courteous and polite, I could not say that much about their manager Blake?!, but the worker were great people. The office lady Rhonda was fantastic with us. The Owner Bryan is a good men and wants the best for his customer. We did hit a speed bump at the beginning withe the manager, but after a visit from the owner Bryan, it was fixed immediately as his concern was the comfort of his customer. Overall good experience, I do recommend them.

This past November my heating stopped working so I called Mid State Heating. They sent out a technician who told me my gas line was closed and that was why my heating was not working. So he turned my gas line on and sent me a bill for $133 which I have included below. The next day my heating stopped working again so they sent out the technician for a second time and this time he tells me that my 10 year old unit is no good and must be replaced. He gave me an estimate of $7000 to replace the unit. I then reached out to another heating company who sent out their technician. The gentlemen connected a loose wire in the back of the unit and since then everything has been working properly. The reason I am giving this company 1 star is because had I listened to their expertise knowledge I would have unnecessarily replaced my unit for $7000.

Today was extremely hot and I called Midstate to fix my AC. They sent a technician over right away and he was extremely professional, friendly and clean! He got my AC working and saved me and my family from suffering in the heat!!

Mid state heating and cooling always do a great job. They installed our AC three years ago and it has worked beautifully. Called for maintenance - they confirmed and showed on time. Jamie the technician was so knowledgeable and patient- and answered all our questions and then some. Very positive experiences!

Highly recommend Mid-State above any other Heating & Cooling Service I have used in the past. They are extremely responsive, all of their employees are professional from the office workers to the people who come and actually do the work in your home, and they are very thorough in their work. Additionally, when compared to other companies, I found their prices to reasonable and fair and the product that they use to be top of line. Thank you very much to Jamie today, for being able to identify what was the issue within my system and to being the process of getting the parts needed ordered so they can get the issue addressed as soon as possible. Jack came right out the next day after we called and met with my family to replace our entire HVAC system he was extremely nice and didn’t push us into buying anything we didn’t want. We had no working heat so he had his guys show up the very next morning before 9 am! The installers were very pleasant and courteous. They kept everything clean and tidy. We are extremely satisfied from start to finish with buying and the installation of our new system. Jack made the whole process quick and easy! We will use Mid State again! Thanks Mid State!

Most of the time, positive reviews are written by friends and family!
We called them during early August to troubleshoot central AC. The technician came and worked on it but did not fix it properly! Within couple of days, the same problem has occurred! We called them to report the problem as it should be guaranteed for a month but they said that they will charge to visit again and were not cooperative over the phone! Btw, they charge $170 to visit which is way higher than most of the HVAC contractors. We found a local contractor with excellent google reviews and charging $110 for visit!
