    Great hardworking guys at this company. Tommy Dylan Marcus and Mike all know what they’re doing and ensure everything is top notch 100% up and running before leaving. Especially Tommy who is very precise with everything. Every company needs someone like Tommy working for them!

    First Choice service tech Justin arrived and gave my ac unit a thorough check up. For the most part I got a clean bill of health. There were a couple issues he told me about that I chose not to act on at this time. I was very happy with the service and will continue to use First Choice.

    I just moved to Atlantic Highlands and within 2 months or so my main floor furnace went. I got two quotes one which I was extremely uncomfortable with the company and the other one was extremely high in price. I then found 1st Choice who was very reasonable and extremely professional and knowledgeable (far more so than the other two companies). From the owner Chris who came out to provide the quote to Justin who came to take various measurements to ensure I get the most appropriate size furnace to Ryan & Tom who did the install, each one was very informative and professional. I probably absorbed less than 50% of the information but that 50% was a great education. I’m glad that I found 1st Choice and will be dealing with them for years to come.

    Tried to setup an appointment with this company who apparently would only work with me through text message. Gave the technician a code to use for my lock as we were not at the home at the moment. The technician said this would not be a problem. It is a second home, but we are able to be there within minutes if needed. Owning a second home does not mean we are unavailable. However, when the technician arrived the access code "didn't work" despite us double checking the code that morning. Instead of calling us to state that the code wasn't working, the technician simply sent a text message. When I didn't respond to the text, the technician left and refused to come back.

    Now, I understand the technician can't be there all day waiting on us, but what is most disappointing is that the technician didn't CALL ANYONE AT ANYTIME. When I asked the manager he stated that they "mostly" work by using text messaging. How is that great customer service? And why would you NOT call someone??????? The manager then argued that there was no way I would have been able to get to the technician in time anyways given it was listed as a "second home." So, rather calling to ask, you just left? You didn't even bother texting that you were leaving?!?!?!?! The way the text message read when I did finally see it was confusing. He said "it" wasn't working. Which I assumed was the washing machine we called about. When I tried to text the technician back I got NO RESPONSE. NOT EVEN 2 DAYS LATER!!!!!! Not via text nor phone call. And then to have the manager argue with me about being able to get there! I was literally 3 MINUTES DOWN THE ROAD. Had I been given a call I would have answered and could have resolved the issue.

    All in all, the lack of communication and customer service is baffling to me. I don't understand how you can run a small business and rely solely on text communication ----- albeit when it's convenient for you of course. Be advised, if you prefer at least the basic level of service that ALL other companies offer, look elsewhere.

    1st Choice did an excellent job. Technician Ebner was prompt and professional. Answered all questions and made an adjustment to our thermostat/sensors that seem to have already improved the efficiency of the system.
