Hawthorne Plumbing Heating & Cooling Las Vegas

Jacob came out at 1 am to repair a pipe that burst on my hot water heater. He was professional, efficient, and got the job done, even having to wake up a colleague for a part that was needed to complete the job at this awful hour. Thoroughly pleased with the service provided. I’d highly recommend this company for your plumbing needs, as well as the technician Jacob.

Contacted Hawthorne after hours and was able to get a service technician dispatched. I received information on his arrival, who was coming, etc. Upon his arrival, he provided his assessment, received options and was able to schedule next day installation. Service technician explained installation, new code regulations and changes and left the area cleaner than when he arrived! I highly recommend the quality service, knowledgeable technician and great customer service.

They were recommended by my hot water heater company as my unit was leaking after 2 years. They were more expensive to perform a warranty swap than it was for another company to give me the same exact unit that was brand new. Still scratching my head how that can happen. The gentleman was super great and on time, however, I never got a copy of the quotes that I asked for. Probably for the best anyway!

Price gauging incorporated is the proper name for this company. Got quoted $7,600 for replacing an existing water heater. The technician probably thought that since I called from out of town, needed to take care of a tenant, and speak English with an accent that he could get away with this pervertedly excessive estimate. The water heater at issue retails for $1,500.00 plus installation. But for the weight and being bulky there is not much to installing a water heater. Any experienced plumber and his helper can install a water heater in max 2 hours. I ended up paying $2,700.00, still too much for the installation portion of the job, but Vegas contractors are notorious for price gauging.

Thank you for your inadequate, nauseatingly arrogant boiler plate language response. You set the policy in your company and you encouraged shameless price gauging. No, you are not striving to provide fair professional service. And, seriously why would I bother calling you after having completed the job for $2,700.00 for which you quoted me $7,600.00. Your responses lack credibility.

Thomas and Steven were amazing! I needed AC repair work done and they did not stop until the job was done correctly! They were on time, courteous, and did the work as quickly as possible! I highly recommend them to anyone needing reliable AC work!

I have been using Hawthorne for over 15 years. Their quality of work has always been exemplary. You may find cheaper but you won't find better.

They done a variety of repairs over thg he years from minor to major. On the major end, they have my AC and Heating units, installed an air purification system, new service free water softener, new hot water heaters.

Their plumbers and AC guys are all very competent and quick and efficient about their work. They are also respectful and courteous. I have always been comfortable with them in my home and they have had to be there for extended periods of time on some jobs. I have truly found that to be a priceless advantage of using their services,

I have had a service contract with them for many years and it is worth every penny.

Last year when I was replacing my AC units, I called a few places for estimates. Goettl never even returned my call and Ivwss looking to get a new water softener as well. 2 jobs and I couldn't get past a screening call.

The Hawthorne HVAC representative came out and provided me with 8 different estimates at varying prices. He is also the only one that went into my attic to inspect things.

At 3 am on 06/11/22 (a Saturday), I discovered my ceiling was leaking water in a room downstairs. The person who fielded the call couldn't have been nicer and more patient because I was panicked.

The on call plumber (Jessie) called me right away and was at my house by 4 am. He quickly identified the issue; explained what he had to do and too care of business. He was done in a little over an hour. Very polite but focused on his work. He helped me cover my property and furniture in that room so it wouldn't be damaged during the repair.

He advised that I needed to contact a water reclamation company to check for mold and other hazards, before repairing the hole in my ceiljng. I would not have known that if he didn't tell me. Others might but I didn't!

Never been more grateful for Hawthore and their staff than yesterday at 3 am on a weekend!

I WISH TO ADD TO THIS AS I'VE HAD ANOTHER UNEXPECTED REPAIR. NONE OF US NEED OUR HOT WATER HEATER TO DIE. IT'S EXPENSIVE AND NEVER WELCOME.

BUT ONCE AGAIN HAWTHORNE COMES THROUGH FOR ME! THE GENERAL MANAGER (ANGEL) ACTUALLY CAME TO MY HOME,AS BUSY AS HE IS, TO HELP ME MAP OUT A FINANCIAL AND REPAIR PLAN!

I'M SO RELIEVED AND GRATEFUL! HE FIELDED MANY PHONE CALLS TO RESOLVE OTHER ISSUES AND NEVER MADE ME FEEL UNIMPORTANT!

11/13/22 Yet another update. I didn't want to erase the above because those reviews was s were valid.

I recently had a tankless hot water heater installed. It's quite the process for those who are not familiar and it takes quite a bit of intricate and painstaking work by the plumbers. The lead plumber, Chtis Arrellano, has hung in there with me and been so patient and professional, even when I haven't been patient and am sure I was annoying. He has worked long hours to finish this project and never once looked at a clock.

Chris' work even was praised by the City Inspector. He noted that no short cuts were taken and the person responsible clearly took pride in their work. Nice thing to hear as a consumer!

Angel Martinez continues to be a true angel and takes great care of me. He makes me feel like my issues and home are important. And not just with nice words but actions. He's kept every word and promise.

Had my heating units winterized recently. The staff even moved me up a day. Eric and Andrew took great care of me as they always do.

They make me feel important and taken care of!!

I will use no one else but Hawthorne. I trust them and have faith in their work. That's priceless to me

Outstanding service by Jake and he cleared 4 separate clogs (2 sinks, 2 toilets) including redoing the faulty job by another plumbing company. Jake was pleasant and professional, as well as cleaning up the workspaces. I would absolutely use Hawthorne Plumbing for all the types of jobs they perform and HIGHLY recommend them to friends and others looking for a reputable firm. We originally called when the Lowe's installation guys couldn't hook up our new fridge to the water line. Hawthorne sent out Mike to help. Took him less then 5 mins to have everything hooked up and working great. Mike was so helpful we scheduled a second service call to have him install our new RO water filtration system. There were some issues with the system we ordered and he had to come back a third time to finish the install after the issue was remedied. All the while, Mike was amazingly patient, helpful, professional, and friendly. We even waited 2 weeks for the final appointment while Mike was out sick, we trusted him and were happy to wait for him to recover. Hawthorne offered to send a second tech but we wanted to wait for Mike. When the dust cleared Mike had done a wonderful job! He even took time to walk us through some stuff in the house we just bought that we.werent familiar with, being from the east coast. I can say with all honesty, I've never been happier with a Service company. Hawthorne is great, and Mike is fabulous. We are very pleased.

Hawthorne Plumbing did a great job installing my new heating and air conditioning unit. They were on time, professional, and responsive. They are also friendly and easy to talk to. I recommend them.

I was looking for a second opinion, originally American home shield sent a contractor to check my home AC unit . He said the compressor was shot. I called Hawthorne, they sent their tech out , a super knowledgeable guy, found my breaker tripped it would run and trip he said could be a bad breaker , he gave me a few options. I followed through. Thought I would change the breaker for a new one. It looked a little over heated , went to home depot bought a new breaker , installed it. It's been running good ever since . I do want to change the AC unit but I will wait till it cools down in vegas. I will certainly call Hawthorne. Now I want my money back from
American Home Sheild what a waste of money stay away from them
