Driver had no concern for personal safety of other drivers on the road. Continued to tailgate in inclement weather. When I entered location to voice my frustrations was met with complete lack of customer service, rudeness and asked to leave. Owner had no empathy for my feelings. Will never use this company and will suggest all friends and family not to use this company.....12/24/2019 why do you only respond to your positive reviews

My complaint was not false your driver was not following the proper 10' per 10 mph distance while he was tailgating in inclement weather. You showed no empathy and no customer service to some one that has lived in St. Charles County for over 50 years and Wentzville for over 20 years. I've worked in customer service for 35 year and I would never allow my employees to endanger the life of the general public. I will let my friends and family and neighbors you called me a troll and see how that help your public relations
Also your van driver flying (45-50mph) down Peine Road in a 30mph speed limit that slows to a 20mph school zone. Do you not care that your employees are endangering children and others? I can tell by your lack of empathy you don't care about others, just yourself and the dollar.

Have used Chowning Heating & Cooling for years for my gas inspections for HomeTeam Inspection Service in St. Charles. Their technicians are always prompt, knowledgeable, honest and trustworthy. We recommend them all of the time.

Justin did a great job, very nice and friendly. You can send him back to my house at anytime he was great.

Justin the service tech was on time and very professional. Angie in the office gave us same day service and is very professional. Very impressed for being a first time customer.

I was referred to Chowning Heating and Cooling by a friend, and was NOT disappointed. Very professional, and did fantastic work for a fair price. Will be using them from now on for any HVAC needs.

Our A/C was filled with 7 lbs of R22 Freon by Adam (the service manager), who apparently didn't check for a leak first. The unit subsequently stopped cooling, and Chowning charged $80 to send a different employee who told us we were out of refrigerant. So I called a different company (PerfectAir Heating and Cooling), who quickly found a leak in the coil. They replaced the coil and the unit works fine now. I just don't know why somebody would fill a unit with Freon without checking for a leak first.

Chowning Heating and Cooling is an HVAC company that provides exceptional customer service at a very fair price. Being a value minded person that is of uppermost importance to me. I have so much confidence in Chowning Heating and Cooling that I have recommended them to many of my relatives neighbors and friends who have also used them with 100% satisfaction. I strongly suggest that anyone looking for a new HVAC company to look at Chowning.

Do not hire these people for your gas pressure test. They do not guarantee anything so you might as well give your money to the Salvation Army instead. Unfortunately we did not hire them but our reject inspector did.

The worst experience I've ever had. I had to kick Barry the service guy off the job. Everything from screwing up the work order to begin with, to the service man throwing a temper tantrum when I wouldn't replace the furnace (which I was previously advised was fixable on my inspection) and then the Manager threw an attitude when I refused to pay for a guy that I had to kick off the job. I would stay away as far as you can and wouldn't recommend anyone use this company to anyone.
