Chowning Heating & Cooling

I've always used Chowning since moving to Wentzville and have had nothing but great service. This time the fan on the furnace went out in the middle of the night. I called the next morning to schedule an appointment. They sent Chuck by that afternoon, who quickly diagnosed the issue and fixed it in less than an hour. Everything is working correctly and I couldn't be more pleased with the promptness and quality of customer care.

I have used Chowning Heating and Cooling for the past 6 years, from when I moved into my house here.

They installed the heating and air conditioning system, two WiFi thermostats (upstairs and downstairs) and also a damper system. They now come out twice a year to do regular maintenance checks...
I am very happy with them and would recommend them to anyone.

I did my best to describe to the reception person that it was a vintage 1970 style in wall a/c. I don't agree that the service call to have a technician come over and say that they don't service this common type of unit a reasonable charge of $105. I will dispute this with your customer service!

Called first thing at 8am, was able to come out 2 hours before they told me what time they were going to be here, fixed the issue on my heater and go heat going back into my house on this cold morning.. greatly appreciate the quality and professionalism of the service. Adam and the team is great! They repaired our AC unit at Custom Tints, they do excellent work and very courteous. Highly recommend.

Justin came over twice. First to find the problem and second to come with the part to fix the problem. He was professional, clean work uniform, and efficient. I will definitely call them again, but I pray it’s not anytime soon!

Found them on Angies List, of the 4 contractors I contacted they were the only one to respond (in less than 10 minutes). Came out a day later, inspected my system and gave an honest repair quote (under 100) and applied the visit cost to my total bill. Very nice gentleman did our work and did a great job.

These guys are amazing. We needed two heat pumps installed in an emergency situation. They were there right away, did the job in less than a day and were super helpful. Price was quite reasonable too. On top of that, this was definitely not your run-of-the-mill job, there were complexities involved. They handled everything with great skill and professionalism. Everyone I dealt with from the owner to the supervisor, to the technicians, were top notch. Units work great and come with a great warranty.

Fantastic service at a great price! Already recommended them to others, and will continue to do so!

Our technician, Mr Tim was extremely knowledgeable of HVAC system and would definitely use Chowning again...however moving to Arizona, might need a house call please!!!
