I recently had a gas inspection done for the sale of a home by Chowning Heating & Cooling. They came out and stated that I had low pressure due to gas leak. They also stated that my "shut-off valves" on gas line was not to code along with a few other items. They also left a nice bill to have the items fixed.

I felt that there was something wrong with their evaluation. I called Spire (formerly Laclede Gas). Spire came out and did a full inspection and found no issues! No Issues!

Be careful with these guys and get a second opinion!

Hi, as the owner of HomeTeam Inspection Service of St. Charles, it is important that I work with reputable companies to insure the client gets the best service, and maintain our good reputation. Chowning is always professional and do a great job. They even went the extra step when a shady HVAC company came in after our inspection we did together, and told them they had two cracked heat exchangers (showed fake photos). Shady company said the inspectors missed it. Chowning went back out for free and reinspected. The client was saved from spending needless thousands of dollars and our reputations were saved.
