Great company to work with! They did an extremely thorough job on the gas inspection for my new home. I’m glad I had them perform their inspection. They found issues that wouldn’t have been found otherwise.

Extremely fast to schedule a repair on my furnace/thermostat. Communication was great -- I received frequent, timely updates via text and phone calls and the service was incredibly efficient and friendly!

Missed not 1 but 2 major leaks in our inspection and then were rude when we asked for a re inspection and refund. The leaks were so bad my repair guy checked all the system and advised me it could have been serious. Then Chowning made me wait a month and 3 calls later for a refund.

I was in a very stressful situation as a new home owner. Caught between the gas company and the previous owners. Chowning came out on multiple occasions and helped me to resolve the problem and be able to move into my new house. My daughter and I can’t thank the staff there enough. From the office manager, to the office staff to the professional gentleman that came to my home. Everyone was beyond helpful and willing to do whatever they could to help me. I would recommend this company to anyone in need of any heating and cooling needs.

We woke up one morning to find that our thermostat wasn't working. Chowning's number was on the furnace, so we called them. Their guy was out in about 3 hours, which we appreciated - it being a cold day. It took him about 5 minutes to figure out that the thermostat's batteries were dead. No charge for the fix but (of course) we did have to pay for him coming out, which is fair. But there responsiveness was excellent!

The professionals who actually service my furnace and HVAC are terrific! I continue my maintenance service plan ONLY because of them. BUT the women in the office? Unprofessional, rude, don't listen and tend to blame the customer with disrespectful commentary and unacceptable challenges, instead of admitting they made a mistake or misunderstood. Thanks. V. Victor was friendly, on-time, and knowledgeable. When he discovered an issue, he was thorough in researching the issue, and resolving it. No repairs were needed. The issue was due to a loose access panel.

Chowning heating and cooling is the best in town. Our family was without heat, after hours on a cold December night. Adam came out got quick and got us back up and going. This is a great company, great price and very dependable. Thanks again.
