We had a plumbing issue on a Saturday morning. They were one of the few companies with an emergency detail willing to come out on the weekend. Overall, they are MUCH better value than Hoffman Bros, and MUCH nicer people than at Vitt. Will be using them again.

Chowning replaced our system with a heat pump, and we could not be happier. The install team was incredible. Price was extremely reasonable. The whole Chowning team was awesome and best of all we have a great new system. We will be referring this company always. Thanks again!

Chowning had outstanding responsiveness when our AC went out. They were able to send a tech out the same day I called (Monday). By Wednesday afternoon we had a new unit installed and a cool home. Manager (Adam) responded to my texts and calls very timely and provided excellent service.

Chowning has the best customer service of any HVAC company I've ever used! Adam Bradbury is extremely professional, unbelievably knowledgeable and very courteous and friendly. Called and Justin, the service tech, was there within the hour. Quick fix. Had part in truck. Explained what was wrong and the fix. Easy to work with. Sent invoice via email and I could pay the say evening. Could not have been easier.

Justin with Chowning HVAC in Saint Louis came to inspect our whole house gas system, also checking our very old wood (early 1960's) and gas augmented fireplace and while doing a very through inspection, also proceeded to start up our gas fireplace that had not been used in many years going the extra mile.Thank you Justin for your excellent service and work ethic. Great service and even greater response time. They were here within 2 hours and Adam had our AC unit back up and going in an hour. Would recommend to anyone and will definitely use their services again!

Fantastic service. Every interaction I've had with Chowning has been a pleasure from Jill as their main point of contact, to the tech who came and was incredibly thorough and gave great information of the current set up in my home and code.

They came out looked at my furnace and found out that there really wasn't much wrong with it at all and told me that if I changed put a wire on it with a bigger one it would perform better. Then I was charged less than the bid I received over the phone. I don't see where they could improve anything but I was sure surprised how fast they resounded and was here in a hour or so chtarged less was friendly fast and very professional. Absolutely nothing bad to say
