Chowning Heating & Cooling

I find it very difficult to get in touch with anyone here... You place your call and noone picks the phone. You have 2 extensions to choose from and no matter which one you choose it will ring and then go to voice mail. Also very Slow at sending out their reports. We love the work they do, but Customer service could really use a BOOST here.

Highly recommend Chowning Heating and Cooling!! Called on 4/6/2020 and got same day service, service tech was friendly, quick, and very affordable. We need more great businesses like Chowning!!

This is a great company to work with and the techs and installers are top notch. Most of all they are honest. They dont try to sell you something you don’t need like a lot of other companies do.

Chuck did the gas line repairs for us. Super nice, explained everything, and answered all my questions. Could not have asked for better service.

They were efficient and passed on a potential problem with a dirt situation to be taken care of in the Fall -- will take some time pulling a motor and all.

I am a realtor and represented the buyer on a single family Home purchase. The listing agent ordered the gas inspection and Chowning found some defects on the outside of the property but did not thoroughly inspect the interior. The work was performed on the exterior by a Laclede Gas which was free of charge to the seller. When Laclede Gas (Spire) came back to perform inspection on interior and exterior, a gas leak in the interior was found and wouldn’t turn gas back on. Both myself and listing agent called Chowning and I didn’t get an answer or call back. Listing agent was told by Chowning that gas inspection by Chowning was only good for that day they performed the inspection! Only What wimps! All you realtors out there- don’t waste your time or your buyers money on Chowning gas inspections. Glossmeier came in to save the day. And one more thing- they dummies up some bogus passed gas inspection before Laclede Gas aka Spire performed the work that Chowning half-baked called out. Integrity- not this gas inspection contractor.
