My experience with Sierra was excellent, they gave me the same day appointment and they were on time. My AC was not working and other company quoted me for $700, the guy from Sierra changed the capacitor for fraction of cost and everything was working like before.

They replace my AC is 2016. It went out last week. When I called to see about a manufacture warranty, I was told they had a data crash and lost all records before 2017. The person I spoke to said they would contact my home warranty co and call me back. They never did. When we called in another company, we had to get a whole system- specifically because the original install was so jacked up.
I beg you, go somewhere else.

Great experience calling into the office and setting up the appointment. Technician was great and talked through a solution. I just wish they could have come to the house sooner than 4 days as it was tough to have no ac with a 1 year old in the house!

Most UNPROFESSIONAL company I have ever dealt with in life! They need to be put out of business...I never even received any work order or receipt showing what work they did. I happened to be at work everytime the tech showed up and he's lucky! My wife said tech didn't have the common courtesy to say he was finished and never checked his work. Just left. Wiring left exposed, bolts on floor left out with my kids. HSA is in bed with them to save money on their end. Do not use them. My A/C unit it still not blowing properly. Gonna call HSA and force them to send another contractor!

Bad experience! We had to use them because of our home protection plan. They called me 2 days after I contacted my insurance company and scheduled to come out the following day. They gave me a window from 9 a.m. to 1. My husband worked from home in order to wait for them. When they didn't show up by 3, I called and let her know it was now 2 hours after they were supposed to arrive and she said he was running late and would be there in an hour. A call would have been nice. Around 4:30 no one had shown up so I called again. The ladies in the office are very nice but don't seem to have much concern for the frustration. She said he's been dealing with nightmares all day and would be there soon. I let the lady know that we have company coming at 6 so we need to get this done by the time our friends are coming over. He arrived at quarter after 5. Said our unit needs cleaned and it's going to cost $80 (and all they do is take it apart and spray it out). Then he proceeded to talk on the phone for 45 minutes. No wonder he was soo late. He claimed it was his boss. If their bosses make a habit of keeping them on the phone that's not very professional. He was back on his phone for a long time again and not working. It is now 7 pm and it doesn't seem he is very far along. We had to delay our company coming over until 7 and now they are to arrive any minute and I still have someone here working on the ac, which I told her I didn't want to happen. She assured me he would be done by 6!! I'm incredibly displeased by this experience!

WARNING!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! If you enjoy being treated horribly and interacting with some of the rudest people ever then this may be the company for you. Otherwise, look the other direction or read more of the comments with only a single star rating.

Technician came out over a week ago due to a faulty condenser fan motor. This was the ONLY highlight of our ordeal. He explained things well (but I do have a mechanical background). I did have to pay a $75 fee (since we were using our HSA that came with our house purchase 3 months ago). He left and told me that he would get the part on order. A week goes by with no communication from the company.

My wife called them and set a time up for a technician to replace the motor. He was supposed to arrive between 7-12. NEVER SHOWED. Come to find out Sierra Mechanical NEVER called the HSA to get the job approved.

The HSA denied the job since there was no cover over the wires going to the motor. Again, we have only lived here for 3 months.

Go figure... they offered to replace it themselves for the total price... fishy if you ask me. This business is a scam along with the HSA! I have known to never buy a HSA. Now I know to never use this company ever again.

By the way... We are planning to pay MORE for someone else to come out and do the work. That's how we feel about this company.

AC unit went out June 10. Called to make an appointment and they said they could come on June 17 to make a diagnosis. 30 minutes before the appointment on June 17 they canceled and rescheduled for June 21. June 21 they made a diagnosis and we paid the service fee that day. June 22 the receptionist called and yelled at me for not paying the service fee. I explained that I did pay the fee and have my bank statement to prove it. She hung up on me. Finally...they decided they would fix the unit on JULY 24th. I called multiple times on July 24th to make sure they were coming and hey kept saying yes. It's now July 25th and I'm still waiting for them to show up. Do not use this company.

Rude and unprofessional. My AC went out when the heat index was above 100. The ladies answering the phone do not seem to care. Like the last review, my appt was between 8 and 1. When I called at noon to see if I should still expect them I was told they'd be there shortly. At 1:30 I called and they said he would be there soon. He finally came at 3:30 only to tell me he didn't have the part I needed and it would be on order. This was on a Monday and he stated "hopefully" it will be in by the end of the week.
I called on Wednesday and was told it would be in Thursday and I would be fixed before the end of the week. I called Thursday and they said the part would come in on Friday but they might be able to get someone out there Friday afternoon. I called Friday and they still didn't have the part. I was left all weekend AGAIN without AC.
There were a number of other issues I noticed but before this gets too long I wanted to mention the issue with these Google Reviews. I clicked on the users who had positive comments about this company and noticed quite a trend. There are about 20-30 users who have all commented (positive comments I might add) on about 10-12 different companies. I'm guessing these companies are paying people to leave positive feedback but that's just my take on it.

Very friendly service man! Called ahead as I requested, arrived with a smile and introduced himself. Made the necessary repairs to the furnace and explained what the issue was and what he did to correct it. We were very pleased and satisfied with the service that Sierra Mechanical provided!!!

The staff member who took my call was nice. The service technician, Dan, arrived on time and addressed my HVAC issue in a timely and professional manner. I will be using this company again in the future. Very happy with their service.
