Update to my review: Our furnace did not stay fixed, and we wound up getting the run-around by Sierra Mechanical. After several appointments to attempt to fix the furnace and no heat on last Christmas morning, I asked a Sierra Mechanical employee at what point they would just recommend to the home warranty that the furnace be replaced. I was told they'd never do that, they'd just keep swapping out parts and trying to fix it. That was the final straw and we had to pay out of pocket (through a different company) to replace our furnace. The other thing about Sierra Mechanical that boiled my blood was that our heat went out (again) on a Thursday and they weren't going to send anyone out until the following Monday, just because we were home warranty customers. Our home warranty had to call them and get them to go out sooner due to the temperature and our situation (dogs, a small child, and I was pregnant at the time). Needless to say, I would now never recommend Sierra Mechanical.

Original review: Jeff from Sierra Mechanical was fantastic to work with! I was nervous after reading other reviews that concerned using a home warranty, because that was our situation. I called and placed a service order with our warranty company at 9pm Monday. Sierra Mechanical called to set up an appointment around noon Tuesday. By 3:00 the same day, Jeff had come out, diagnosed the problem, went and picked up the part, and fixed the furnace. I'm very grateful to have our heat up and running again in such a timely manner!

HORRIBLE. If your home warranty company insists on using this company, I would ask for a different company. They originally came out quickly but misdiagnosed problem as electrical, forcing the Home Warranty company to send out an electrician at the cost of another $100. Electrician immediately said the electrical was fine and it was the compressor so Sierra Mechanical was sent out again at the cost of yet another $100. They waited a week for the second visit only to get a part number off my unit and leave. Waited almost 2 weeks, no word. Called and was told by the receptionist that she would check on the order and call right back. Waited 6 hours called again. She was obviously agitated with me the second time and reminded me that she said she would call me when the part came in. Which was not what she said originally. Waited another week and nothing. Called Home Warranty company they called Sierra and were told the part would be in in 4-7 days. That time came and went...nothing. So here we are at almost 5 weeks without AC and have suffered through many 90 and 80 degree days during this unusually hot Spring. We are out $300 and nothing was fixed and We have had to cancel and call another company ourselves outside the home warranty company and pay out of pocket. From reading other reviews, this seems par for the course with this company. I not only blame Sierra but also the Home Warranty company for continuing to send this company out to peoples’ homes.

Do not use this Contractor. If your Home warranty Company assigns this Contractor, you have the option to Refuse this Contractor and use someone else. Please Do. I have been waiting on this Company for almost 2 Weeks now and I still havent been able to get my AC repaired. No Customer Service at all. Front Desk lady super unprofessional and rude- knowing that they are doing a terrible work she told me today that if I was unhappy I could go and find someone else to do the repair. I do not recommend this Company.

Home Warranty sent this unprofessional company to my house to fix my A/C went four days without A/C. Please do yourself a favor and request some else to fix your HVAC system. Just read the other reviews, you have been warned.

I was very satisfied with my Service experience with Sierra mechanical! The lady on the phone or very helpful with scheduling and answering my questions! Ryan came out and diagnosed the problem in a timely manner. He returned once our part came in an installed it quickly! I highly recommend them!

We have had a disaster of a HVAC system for 3 years - We have used our home warranty for repairs and they sent every company other then this one - We reached out to this company personally and received a brand new installed Unit this week - By far the best Amazing service anyone can ever ask for ! This is the only company we will ever recommend and use for now on -
We are so happy with our new system !

Sierra mechanical was the contractor provided by our home warranty, HSA. We've had issues with some of the contractors provided to us in the past, but these guys were great. Trent was our technician, and he was timely and professional. He diagnosed and fixed the issue in under a half hour.

Any 5 star review on this company is a blatant lie. They never showed up to fix my AC when scheduled to on a Friday. Of course, that left us in the heat over the entire weekend. After calling them 30 minutes after their window of arrival, we were told that they were closed and nothing could be done by an answering machine. We received no notification that they were just not going to show up. The fact that this place is still in business with such horrid business practices is absolutely shocking. Do yourself a favor and avoid this garbage excuse for a company.

Call the organization made an appointment that was kept and action performed in a timely manner. Made three additional appointments to have the blower motor fixed and no one came. Was informed after the third missed appointment that the piece was not yet in and will communicate with home warranty company to have them seek another way to receive required part. I didn't think that an organization will make appointments with customers knowing they was not able to provide a service. This is poor business.
