Sierra was chosen by my home warranty company and I was concerned at first, but Dave showed up on time, professional, cheerful, and knowledgeable. He fixed my issue at this first visit, and gave me tips and advice on keeping the system running well. In the future when I have another HVAC issue I will request Sierra through my home warranty company. I highly recommend them.

The tech claimed the HSA issued a Wong Work Order. Eventhough, I called before to inform them about the issue. The tech came knownly that the work order allegedly wrong just to cash an easy buck. Unethical company to avoid like plague.

Avoid at all costs. If assigned by a home warranty company I definitely suggest you request an escalation and demand another contractor be assigned. Here is why. Sierra was assigned as our contractor when our AC stopped cooling. They couldn't see us for two days. We scheduled for Friday afternoon and they were to arrive between noon to 4. I called between 1 and 2 pm to ensure we were on their calendar. The phone was answered by a female that knew zero about how to answer the phone by announcing who was answering and using a polite voice. She seemed annoyed I was calling. Nobody showed and I called at 530pm and was greeted by an automated answering machine. I left a message and here it is 4 days later and they have yet to call me back. Demand Budget Heating and Cooling. They are amazing and have 5 star customer service. They arrived on time for the appointment, and within 2 hours they had the condenser replaced and AC cooling. They also provided a ton of information on AC maintenance.

Sierra came out and determined my condenser needed to be replaced. They told me they were submitting my diagnosis to my warranty company. 2 weeks later my warranty company told me they haven't received my diagnosis and 3 different times tried to get Megan at Sierra to tell them or send it. Every time she conveniently needed to get the diagnosis from the tech and would call back. But the call back would never happen. There's something shady happening at Sierra. Do yourself a favor and stay away.

Update:
I did finally get through to someone in charge. She admitted that it was her fault for the delay in getting the diagnosis to the warranty company. Didn't apologize or offer explanation just the admission. We arranged for Sierra to charge my system while waiting for approval and parts from warranty company. Even after warranty company approved payment on freon which they had an issue with taken care of, despite it being they're fault that it took 3 weeks to get the info to warranty company. The appointment was set up, I took off work to be home, and nobody showed up. I call to follow up and they said someone was still on the way. Well that was the last straw for me. I will not do business with them going forward and I suggest you don't either. They told my warranty company I needed to replace the coil they installed a year ago. I started everything over with a new contractor that told me that they were just trying to collect more money. My coil works perfectly fine with my new condenser that was just installed.

My home warranty sent out Sierra mechanical to me , I called my home warranty on a Friday & Sierra Mechanical was there Monday. The third company sent out from my home warranty & the only guy who wore a mask ! My technician was very helpful & respectful. He went through everything the last company did and made sure everything was safe & usable . He was in and out in about 45 minutes & my furnace is fixed ! Very happy with the service they gave me !

AC stopped working on Thursday evening. Put in a service order with my home warranty company and was set up with Sierra. I spoke to Megan on Friday morning and had Dave at my house by Friday afternoon. Both Megan and Dave were so friendly and professional. Thank you for great customer service and a job well done quickly!

The company provided zero communication during their time attempting to repair my furnace. I was constantly having to reach out to them to get updates on what was going on. They claimed they needed to order parts at two different times which took well over a week and during that time I heard nothing from them. When I expressed my dissatisfaction with their communication and performance, I was treated extremely rudely by one of their technicians, whom then told me that I was "fired" as one of their clients. I would not recommend this company to anyone for any type of service.

Avoid this company at all costs. Our AC was no longer cooling our home so American Home Shield sent out this company. The technician arrived and informed us we were low on freon and that we had 'damage' to our system and he needed approval before replacing the freon, which informed us would take up to 24 hours for approval. He also pushed heavily that they can get a discount for whole new unit and we should try to replace this asap. He informed me we would have to pay for freon out of pocket as our insurance company did not cover the cost.

We had to call multiple times and was unable to get an answer. After 3 days we called American Home Shield and was informed they never recieved the report. When attempting to get answers we finally were told they were busy and will submit this when they can. Customer service was horrible as they were extremely rude and condescending.

After recieving the report, American Home Shield informed us what we were told by the technician was not in the report and was full of discrepancies.

We requested a second opinion, and the new compnay immediately knew who they recieved a 2nd opinion for as this company is notorious for this type of thing. The new company came out and said there was no damage and that freon is covered in our warranty and do not have to pay extra or need approval as it is already aproved.

Horrible, horrible, horrible!!!! My home warranty company had me use this company! Which I will be letting my home warranty the issue as well! They kept telling me for two weeks that they were going to fix my AC! They did not keep me updated or in the loop with anything that was going on. They said multiple times they would call me back and never did so I would call them and I would get the same line of “oh we are waiting for the right item to get in and it would only be a couple days.” Finally on Monday when I called them they told me they had the stuff in to fix my AC and they scheduled an appointment for Wednesday morning. They called me Wednesday and said they were running behind but would be to my house that afternoon. That afternoon I got an email saying the work order was completed, which was not true. I called Sierra mechanical and the lady said she would call me back. I waited 20 mins and she never called so I called them back. They got on after I was on hold for 10 mins and told me that they are not able to fix my AC that I would need to use another company. The lady said they never got the stuff in to fix it. When I asked why they scheduled to fix it If they didn’t have the stuff in she said because she thought they would. She acted like it wasn’t their fault at all. All the did the last two weeks were lie!!! They are horrible never use them!!!!!! They were also very rude every time I called!!!!

This company is a joke. Our home warranty company sent them out to repair our A/C. Understanding that it was on the holiday weekend I followed up Monday to get an appointment scheduled. Was happy they were able to come out the following day after the holiday. Unfortunately they had to "order" a new blower motor. This was Wednesday. The tech told my wife that the company they use did not have any in stock but it will only be a couple days. The following Monday I called to see if the part was in and was told that they had to reset their computer so she would call me back in 10 minutes to let me know. an hour and half later I called back since I have not heard anything. I ended up having to call their distributor myself to see if the part was in they happened to have over a dozen of them so I can only guess the tech lied about them not having any the 1st time he was out. I had to call them 8 times in one day to get an appointment to have it installed. Had to get the warranty company involved just to get definitive answers. This company is a joke and is probably only in business cause they are used by AHS. Total of 12 days without AC in 90+ degree weather absolutely ridiculous.
