    After getting multiple bids, we chose Summit to replace our entire Heating and Air Conditioning system.

    From the comfort advisor to the installers to the Quality team who came out the next day to to verify the installation, the Summit team was professional, attentive, and courteous.

    Summit educated us and provided good, better, and best options allowing us to make an informed decision. We trusted their advice and felt comfortable working with them.

    Our home has never been this comfortable Summit has our highest, unqualified recommendation!

    I highly recommend this company and will use them again in the future. The technicians were highly skilled and professional. On the hottest days last summer, my A/C was out. I ordered an A/C and heating unit from Costco. Summit Heating and Cooling helped to install the unit in less than four hours. The system never gave us any trouble so far. About half a year ago, I considered to replace my water heater because it was over 20 years old. I got a reasonable quote from this company. Some other companies asked for about 50% more for similar systems. Then a technician came and installed the new water heater for us. It worked well so far. In short, I highly recommend this company. They are trustworthy and actually care about their customers, not just sell equipment to you.

    Earlier this year I began the process of replacing my 26 year old residential furnace and heat pump as my furnace was cracked and heat pump consuming a high amount of electricity during the summer months. As always, I obtained multiple quotes for various products and solutions. I was fairly satisfied with a HVAC contractor based on a neighbor’s recommendation but wanted to get one more quote from Summit Heating and Cooling. I am sure glad I did as every step of the process was professional, honest, and efficient. My HVAC consultant, Mike, was very knowledgeable, helpful, and always answered my questions. While the quote was initially not what I was looking to spend, I ended up going with the best option due to multiple rebates, tax credits, and more importantly, being able to heat and cool my home efficiently. The installation crew (Terry, Andrew, and Freeze) were timely, professional, knowledgeable, experienced (even the apprentice), and friendly. Having Summit Heating and Cooling upgrade my system was definitely the best choice and I look forward to working with them in the future for annual maintenance and other home HVAC/IAQ needs.

    Summit put in a new water heater at my house in the Zona Rosa area. They were even able to move some things around and get water heater installed the next day after I called. The technicians were very friendly and answered questions that I didn’t know I had! Best hvac and water heater service in Kansas City!

    Just got our new LENNOX HVAC system installed today. Thankfully getting the right company at the right price. Summit Heating & Cooling earned my business yesterday by giving me a fair price and completing the job the next day with a great crew of hometown Kansas City men. They all three worked hard at making sure to take the time to get the job done right. And, that was even on a Friday when a lot of technicians would have been cutting corners to finish up early.     Jesus and Austin were awesome! They did an amazing job installing our heating system. Jesus thoroughly explained what was repaired and how to operate the machine. He also explained that it took a little longer because they had to replace a rusted flue pipe (Which was destroyed) but the length of time was no bother for great work. At the end of service they completely cleaned everything and took all old parts. Before they left Jesus made sure I had no other questions. We will definitely be using Summit heating and cooling when we replace our AC unit. Great, quality service!

    The unit(Train) we purchase was supposed to cool our upstairs. When the guys showed up to put the unit in they told us it won’t because the air ducts. The only way to cool the upstairs is to put a split unit at top. They told me it would be a lot more money. I was also told if it doesn’t that they could install these devices to help regulate between the upstairs and downstairs from the sales person. After determining the upstairs was not going to get cool down enough to request the devices to be installed. Unfortunately the service person was very upset because he didn’t know how to do it and was frustrated with the request. He made phone calls trying to get help but was not successful. They devices was just left without being hooked up. I was told they should connect after my thermostat software gets update. Unfortunately that never happen. The next year, I decided to research these devices. After playing with them for a couple of hours, I was able to connect them. I had our unit maintenance this spring and confirmed with the tech everything was setup correctly. That has help so fair this summer so that is a good thing. Installation was great and the service outside of those devices has been fine.

    Overall the sales and installation was done with professional service and on time.

    From the beginning through servicing, Summit Heating and Cooling has responded quickly and resolved any issues I have had. It is typically unheard of that you can get same day service, but every time I have called, they were there that afternoon! As a landlord, the promptness of their service is so important and for which I am thankful! Definitely give them a call if you are looking for great service.

    Our technician, Justin, was very pleasant, informative and thorough. He explained every step and its purpose and results. Summit was able to schedule our emergency service within an hour of our call; on a Saturday! They got our AC up and running within 2 hrs by replacing the start capacitor.
    We’re very pleased with their service.
