Open an hour later than all the others. Gave me time to get there after work. Had my part in stock and took the time to give a few pointers to get it installed properly. Would have been a run to home depot for electric heaters and a day off work the next day if not for Mike's staying open later.
This morning (Easter Weekend) my furnace quit ... my husband find out , it was small, but very important part of furnace which was broken... after making many calls... only Mike's H&C was willing to help us , and for great price !!! My 22 year old A/C was blowing luke warm air. I sent an e-mail to Mike's about 9:30 PM 6/26/2019. I was called about 9:00 AM the following morning about scheduling an appoinmtent the following morning or be put on the list for that Thursday afternoon. I chose the list. Paul, one of Mike's techs, called about 2:00PM Thursday. He arrived in about 20 minutes as he said. Promptly & professionally diagnosed a faulty starter assist, added 1 pound of R22. He was there maybe an hour. Price was very reasonable. My A/C is cold again. I couldn't be happier. Thanks, Paul. Great experience.
Of course it's a single digit day and the furnace doesn't work. I called first thing at 8am and they had someone over at 8:30am. Paul the technician was great! He determined and had it repaired by 10:30! Great experience!
Called the shop looking for a replacement part for my furnace. Although they had the part in stock, the gentleman that I spoke to was concerned that the part was not necessarily the issue. He gave me some pointers, and low and behold, the furnace is working like a champ again. Thank you for not just selling me a part to make a quick sale, and thank you for taking the time to assist.
Paul was prompt. Called before arriving. was very courteous and explained the problem. I learned about voltage drops when connector wires are wound too tight and learned how to clean the sensor that fires up the furnace and keeps it running. If you want an honest furnace guy who will earn your repeat business ask for Paul at Mike's.
We've used Mikes several times now and I can't speak more highly of them. As a contractor myself I know how unethical some tradespeople are. They respond quickly, priced fairly, clean and professional.
I called here spoke to Lori in the winter time because I had no heat I took them a part from my furnace and they told me what was wrong with no charge at all and sold me a part they recommended I changed it and it fixed all my problems. I called today 6/7/18 because the a/c was not working spoke to Danielle and she stayed on the phone with me doing everything she could to help me to get it working that ment a lot to me. .. Mike's heating and cooling serviced my children's daycare center about two weeks ago. Upon picking my children up, I witnessed an employee from Mike's disrespectfully arguing with administration at the center causing a scene in the front lobby of the center. The employee from Mike's ended up storming out the door leaving myself, and other witnesses outraged. How can someone treat a customer so poorly and also in an atmosphere full of children? I 100% don't recommend this company to anyone!
Came out to inspect our hot water tank last year. We called them back this year, and they refused to look at it because they "noticed" something wrong with our furnace... We didn't even contract them to inspect our furnace. Bad business... Especially when dealing with someone who knows legalities and has worked for Lawyers.
