APW Plumbing, Heating & Cooling

This company contacted us and made an appointment due to our HVAC going out. The company did not show up for the appointment and there was no call/text/email for reasoning why. We called them multiple times that evening and left messages trying to get a hold of someone. No one answered or responded. We called and left messages the next day and still were never contacted. They did not call until three days later asking what the problem was. When the issue was explained the lady stated she would call back immediately- a different associate did not call until 3 hours later and he stated that they couldn’t even get to our house for three more days. Very disappointed with the professionalism, timeliness, and overall experience with this company. We do not recommend them and will not look for help with any future issues with this company. This was also especially frustrating because the only reason we were using this company was due to them being on our home warranty.

I've had them put in a tankless water heater and new HVAC. The technicians were awesome. We have had nothing but positive experiences with everyone that works here. They throughly explain what they are doing and answer any questions you might have. They do quality work, provide quality products, all at an affordable price.

Henry was the tech today who replaced the carbon filter on my water softener. He was able to get started earlier than the scheduled time as he was running ahead which worked out great. He was very professional and all around nice guy and was done in under an hour. All the techs from APW have been great.

I called to request the $59.00 advertised furnace tuneup and check. Before I could say what I wanted I was told it would be $189.00. I should have hung up then. I told the guy I only needed the furnace checked, that it is not HAVAC. I made the appointment. I wasn't home when the service man got here he was early. When I got home he was gone after telling my husband there was a part needed and that I had agreed to something that I don't know how I agreed I didn't sign or verbally agree to anything except the $59.00 tuneup. I made sure of that before I hung up. But my husband was showed something I'm not sure what and convinced this part was needed and maybe it was but it just seems strange to me that I came home to a bill for $264
00 which also included the $59.00. I feel like my husband was tricked into the higher price. I
I'll never use this company again!

Whole company outstanding, they talk to each other! Easy and fast scheduling. Arrived on time and called to tell me on the way. I had called the office to tell them I was working in the front yard and may miss that phone call... which I did. They coordinated with Caleb for me. Caleb took care of checking and cleaning my A/C and then updated me on best practices to take care of both my A/C and heater. He reviewed everything he had done and made sure I knew where and how to change my filter. My units are very old and the filter was in the heater, actually the fan unit in the garage. I am so pleased I can count on them to return if I have problems. I have signed up for the service contract in the fall, very pleased with their pricing too.

Steer clear! Beware! Unprofessional technicians and they commit FRAUD in order to make an extra buck from you. Save yourself time, money and a headache and go somewhere else. On top of my negative experience, when I told them I would be writing a review to reflect what I thought of them and their service, they called me back immediately and offered me $300 dollars refund (on the service I paid for that I didn’t actually need) if I would provide them a 5-star review. After much thought, I decided that it wasn’t worth the money. I think that you should take any 5-star reviews for APW with a grain of salt.

Among the list of things that were negative with APW:
• With completely normal water pressure readings, they insisted that I needed a pressure regulator valve. They first quoted it at $300. I politely declined. Then the told me that the other repairs would not be covered by the home warranty company if I didn’t install this valve. Then it was quoted at $600. Conveniently the same amount that the other repairs (tub spout leaking when shower head engaged) would have cost me if my home warranty didn’t cover them.
• The technician visited my house on 2 separate occasions. On both occasions he asked to use the bathroom after he had shut off the water. He took a dump in my bathroom both times and allowed it to fester until he turned the water back on at the end of his visit.
• Upon completing the repairs, there were wrappers and trash from the parts left all over my bathroom.
• The women in the office are also very difficult to work with. The technician is standing in front of you telling you one story and when you call them, they’re telling you a different story. Super frustrating.

My experience with APW plumbing was through my home warranty company who assigned me to APW. If you have the same misfortune, call your home warranty company and demand a different plumbing company assignment.

We just finished with our walk through to discuss a new A/C unit and furnace. Jamie is very informative and likable. I really feel like they have my best interest at heart! We liked that he gave us all the time we needed and answered all of our questions but never pushed us to buy. Overall great experience.

My experience with APW was positive. I was in need of a new HVAC system. Jamie, Brian, Brennan, and Larry were awesome. Jamie helped me select the right system for my unique, older home. The crew assisted with any questions I had. I didn't think I could afford a whole new system, but they have great financing options. Dixie called and set up a follow-up inspection. They did an awesome job and I am very happy with my new system. Thanks so much!

APW was an awesome find! Jamie was very friendly, informative and professional. He listened to our needs and delivered. The service staff was on timed, courteous, and experts at what they do. This company delivered on every promise and went above and beyond. We highly recommend APW.

APW is a reliable, high quality & on-time service provider. They've serviced our plumbing & water heater in the past & just installed new HVAC system today!
