The technician, Henry Grisby, arrived at the time we were told, and performed the regular maintenance, check up and filter change on our water conditioner that was due. He did a great job with no waste time, fixing a minor problem and testing his work. We were pleased.
We have had the system since December 2000 and it has done a wonderful job and they have maintained it well

The company did have to send a second person out, as my issue wasn’t initially resolved. However, when I called again, the representative was very professional and customer focused. They sent the master technician out and he was personable, took the time to diagnose the issue and validated the toilet was properly fixed. I appreciate working with a company like this. Thank you giving us our master toilet!!

To be clear, this company deserves zero stars, but that wasn’t an option.

Tons of issues (DO NOT TRUST APW PLUMBING, HEATING, COOLING):
    1) The appointment was set for 10-12, we called them after 12 and they said that they were pushing it back to 2-4, but they did not ever contact us to update us on the switch.
    2) The worker they sent was unprofessional. He also had no clue what he was doing in looking at our AC unit. The list of issues in the invoice he gave us was for repairs over $5000. But he quickly pivoted to us needing to buy a new unit. He was clearly trying to sell us a new unit. None of the 12 things he listed on his report for repairs were actually the problem.
    3) In the invoice there were a couple glaring issues: they overpriced the refrigerant more than 3x what it actually costs. They also charged us $189 for a “discount”. That does not seem like much of a discount. They also listed a duct modification for $500 that upon further review can be replaced for $15.
    4) The only reason we had this company come out is because we have a home warranty. Clearly not trusting them, we had two other companies come out and look at the unit. Both of those companies agreed that the circuit board was not working properly and that, along with the $15 duct replacement were the only things that needed to be fixed. A much different report both times than the $5000 this sham of a company was assessing.
    5) When APW finished their assessment and went through the items with us, we were told specifically that they were emailing the invoice to us and to the home warranty company and that the warranty company had 24-48 hours to get back in contact. We waited 48 hours and heard nothing from the home warranty company. When we called the home warranty company, APW had not sent the invoice to them. They emailed us the invoice, but not the home warranty company. Further delaying this whole issue.
    6) After talking to the home warranty company, we called APW to try to figure out why our invoice had not been sent in over 48 hours. The office lady was extremely rude stating that “24-48 hours is just something we say.” They were open for 2 and a half more hours at the time we called, but when asked if they could send over the invoice to our home warranty company they said they would look for it the following morning.

I have never written a bad report about a company until now. I just don’t want other people to have to deal with such an awful company. APW Plumbing, Heating, Cooling is a very poor company. They appear to be focused on trying to scam their customers out of as much money as possible and do not value customer service. Needless to say, APW will never be back to our home.

I had APW install my new furnace and a/c unit when my old system died. The system and service has been great. Out twice a year for maintenance. Super friendly staff. Would recommend and use again.

We were sent APW by our home warranty company. We were told our appointment was from 10-12 Tuesday morning. At 12:02 I called due not hearing or seeing from them. I did get through only to be informed from the office that our appointment had been pushed back until 2-4. No communication or warning.
The technician, Tyler showed up at 2:55. Inspected our AC/Furnace Unit. This took approximately 15 min to determine the myriad of issues, the total coming to over $5,000 for repairs. At the end of our appointment Tyler told us that the invoice of repairs would be sent to our home warranty company before he left our house that day (as he overly exaggerated pressing the send button). We were also told that the warranty company had 24-48 hours to respond with what they would cover. As you can imagine we were wary and got a second and third opinion about our ac/furnace. Those techs said nothing of what APW did and quoted much lower repairs prices. 50 hours later we had not heard from our home warranty company so we called for information about what APW had sent. APW hadn’t sent our invoice to them. I called APW immediately asking why our invoice hadn’t been sent and hadn’t heard from the home warranty company as I was told that “24-48 hours is just something that we say.” Unbelievable! I had read poor reviews and was nervous about APW but unfortunately they live up to their unsatisfactory service. We will be reporting them to the state insurance commissioner.

Conner with APW came out to work on our toilet. We have worked with a lot of plumbers on different jobs and he was communicative, informative, prompt and professional. We get frustrated dealing with issues that we don’t understand and he was kind, courteous and patient, explaining to me exactly what was going on, what he was doing, and how his services and insurance worked for us. He showed up exactly on time ready to do the job quickly and well. We appreciated his service so much and he really put us at ease as he worked on our home!

I have used this company this year through the home warranty over 10 times for different issues and locations, however, none of those times this company's techs showed up on time nor fixed anything. They also Rescheduled us several times pushing us back 1 to 2 weeks a way when we had a leak that needed to be fixed immediately. It seemed like They would show up to collect the service fees and then tell us its non covered items by warranty when it was. or they will have to come back because they don't have all their tools on them but of course they never call or come back again. I remember they have collected over $900 in service fees but they provided us with 0 service. I called their manager ( Keith) and spoke to him but he didn't offer any solution to the problem. He said you need to speak to another manager. then I decided that's a waste of time. I notified my home warranty and asked them not to assign this company to me anymore. It was a very bad experience dealing with them, I guess when you are a client from the home warranty you are dealt with differently.

I’m giving APW 2 star because there has been an unfortunate series of events that has caused my experience with them to be less than enjoyable. This rating is not coming from a disgruntled customer who they inconvenienced by being late or customer service was rude. No. They are getting 2 stars because they did a BAD job installing my new HVAC system. BAD. Really, really bad. The job was so bad, that since installation, I’ve had to have technicians back out to my house an additional FIVE times to fix things that the original installers completely botched.

If you want the short version of this review, here it is: We hired APW for a completely new HVAC system. We paid $14,000 for a particular package that met our needs after getting quotes from other companies. We were promised a high quality, clean installation and customer service. They “take pride in their installation” – direct quote from our sales person, Kain. We did not get that. There were holes and gaps left in our furnace, screws that were missing from furnace attachments, drainage pipes that were not attached properly and leaked in multiple places, and a huge mess was left behind.

If you hire them, treat this company like a math problem and triple check that they have done the work that was promised and get everything in writing.

Throughout the process I’ve heard multiple times from the techs who came to fix issues that “APW prides themselves on their install BUT we have new guys that don’t know our install process.” To me that tells me they have a training discrepancy with their install crew. Train your technicians APW because this has been a headache!

Brian, Mark and Preston worked hard all day and did a great job! They were very communicative throughout the process and had pride in their work. On top of that, they were efficient and didn’t take any shortcuts. Truly appreciative of making it such an easy experience for us. Definitely recommend.

Henry from APW was out today for fall service on our furnace. Henry was very polite, courteous and professional (as well as COVID friendly and responsible). I was very impressed with the service work he did, he took his time, was methodical and made me feel like taking care of our furnace was the most important thing on his schedule today. Once finished he went over possible issues to be considered in the future and emailed me a detailed estimate. Thanks Henry for clearly explaining the things we need to consider in the future. This was our second service call with APW and we highly recommend them for your HVAC needs.
