APW Plumbing, Heating & Cooling

Very unprofessional! The representative (Josh) arrived and announced that he will be returning all of his phone calls while inspecting my system. He stayed on the phone during the entire inspection, then sat in the truck for 25 more minutes talking on the phone. The system wasn't cooling properly so I called the warranty company. He found nothing to report to the warranty company yet he gave me an invoice for $2600 in needed repairs. Had he not been distracted on the phone, he could have done his job thoroughly. Would not recommend using this company.

APW was assigned to us by a home warranty company we just started using for a rental home we own. While it took a while for parts to come in (current supply chain issues everywhere), they've communicated thoroughly and have kept scheduled appointment times.

Extremely unprofessional and too many levels to talk to. People on the phone do not know or do not have communication with the actual technician. Technician came to my house, I am doubtful that he knows what he is doing. The technician and the office employees are more interested in doing administrative stuff than actual work. They find loopholes to charge more money to customers. My home warranty company hired APW to repair/replace faucets but they want out of pocket money to do the job and close out the claim without doing it. I waited more than 3 weeks to get my job done, called so many times, wasted my time with them but the job was not done. Also, they are ridiculously expensive as they quoted me about $1200 to fix a outside faucet that I completed with another plumber for $300. Please be careful with APW before hiring them!

The technician was supposed to fix my dripping shower head but he used some lame excuse about my water pressure being too high and I should consider getting a Water and quoted me 5500 to have that done before I could have my shower fixed. I have had plumbing fixed before and it was never a problem, he went on to say how he has Soft Water in his home and that’s why his hair and skin are so soft. He was a joke and I could tell when he walked in he had no intentions on doing any work. I I told my Warranty company he was too busy trying to sale APW business and to never send APW to fix anything….I explained to him the faucet was old I believe it was put in when the house was built in 1990 the handle had even broke that’s how old it was.

Izack did a great job replacing a worn pipe that was leaking. We're very happy with his work, attitude and professionalism. The communication from APW was great and we are very pleased. We recommend this company for your plumbing needs.

After 4 years our tanked water heater had already failed. Decided to upgrade to a tankless water heater due to the long lifespan, endless hot water and freeing up floor space. Elected to also add a water softening system to protect our appliances and plumbing. Zero regrets! Great install and easy finance options. Everyone was great to work with and made the entire process very easy. I plan to also include APW in the process when I upgrade my furnace & a/c.

Called APW yesterday about a possible gas leak another furnace company had detected during a tune up. We’re first time home owners and didn’t know APW had initially worked and installed our furnaces. The receptionist on the phone was so sweet and quick to put us on the schedule for the next day. Tyler with APW came out to our home in Basehor and fixed the problem quickly then also inspected our other second furnace to make sure there weren’t any gas leaks coming from that one either. Tyler was great, informative, very kind and professional. Highly recommend Tyler and APW. Definitely will be staying with them for all our cooling, plumbing and heating needs for our new home.

The technician was very nice and explained the issue and fixed it quickly. I had a problem with the scheduling. I had the appointment between 10-12. At 12:30 I called the operator and she said that my appointment had been moved because of an emergency. She then said that the technician would still be able to make it today and that we would get a text or call when the technician was on his way. Again no text or call. The technician was fine but I don’t enjoy spending half a day of vacation trying to figure out when he would show up. Difference between a 3 star and a 5 star/return customer would be a simple phone call to let me know before my appointment that the technician would be later.

We are very happy with APW! They were very professional and worked wonderfully with me to complete our job quickly. AC, furnace, tankless hot water heater, and water softener all accomplished in a timely manner. They were very tidy about my home and careful about my pets.
The financing was smooth and easy. We received a great interest rate and payment plan. I am very please and would highly recommend their services.

APW sent a great technician to help us. His name is Brad. He came out to service our water purification system and did a very efficient job on that! He noticed there was a problem with a leak in our HVAC system and repaired the drain lines while he was here. He was very thorough in his work and in explaining what he was doing. We felt lucky to have him as our technician! Our water purification system is working great now, and he probably saved us a lot of money on a damaged HVAC system by repairing our drain lines!
