I use Best for all my heating, cooling and electric needs. Why? Because they have a staff that are down to earth. I don't feel pressured to upgrade or get something that i don't need.Also, its the staff. Mike often answers the phone. He truly cares about getting you the info and services you need. Nick has a good sense of humor. Garett spells out pricing and gives me all the options available. Heath is a great HVAC tech, installer, and salesman. Jason who I believe is the owner of the company, knows everything about HVAC and electric service. The only bad thing about Jason is he is hard to get hold of but I imagine he is busy. On my estimate for a new furnace and air, they ranged 800- 3000 less than the other local companies i received quotes from. I asked them how can they afford to be so much less than their competitors. I was told that the companies goal is not to be rich, but to treat people how they want to be treated-not ripped off. Next time you are looking into purchasing an AC and/ or furnace get a quote from those other guys selling their service as a factor in their pricing, and then get a quote from best. You will be SHOCKED how much money you can save for the same service. They have good maintence programs as well. I love the monthly credit card payment program. They don't even charge interest or service charges.

Had Best come out and diagnose a problem with our air conditioning after HSA assigned to a different company. Dennis was our tech and fixed our problem, made sure everything was in working order before he left. Dennis deserves a raise.

We have had nothing but EXCELLENT experience with BEST HEATING, COOLING & ELECTRIC. Our relationship with BEST began in 1996 for some electrical work, through the years they have been an excellent service provider. We have purchased a Gas Water Heater from them with same day installation. We just had a new AMANA HEATING AND AIRCONDITIONING SYSTEM installed. When we signed the contract bid they promised us heat by end of business on 11/1/17, the equipment and installer arrived at 9:15 am on 11/1/17 and at 3:11pm on 11/1/17 we had heat. They completed the install today 11/2/17 and left everything very neat and tidy. I was instructed on all equipment. Thank you BEST for excellent CUSTOMER SERVICE and QUALITY PRODUCTS.

Our home warranty company sent these clowns out to fix the furnace. Put in the wrong high limit switch and would not stand behind their service. Gave myself and our warranty company nothing but the run around about how their supplier got them the correct part. Correct parts should look like the old part and should not need modified to fit. I found an exact match with a 2 min Amazon search. All in all a horrible experience. If you are in the greater Des Moines area find somebody else.

I wouldn't know if their company is "Jerk Free". They did not respond to my e-mails beyond asking for a set of plans for my new home. I followed up with a number of e-mails asking for status of pricing as well as 2 phone calls to inquire about status. None of my communique was ever responded to. I moved on to other better communicators to acquire my services from.
