I had Control Tech come out to diagnose an inoperative air conditioning unit. The tech came back with a long list of things that he said needed replaced. The total recommended repairs were over $5,000. I asked what could have caused the problem but the tech did not know. I asked if the $5,000 repair would fix the a/c and he said it was possible that more parts
were needed on top of the original $5,000 quote. As I was weighing my options, the gentleman mentioned I would be better off to just replace the a/c with new equipment. Unfortunately, I had to make a separate appointment with another Control Tech employee for the new equipment quote.

I went ahead and called Summers Heating and Cooling for a second opinion. Summers was quick to the appointment within an hour of calling. The tech came back with a quote of $2500 for an air compressor and a couple of other parts. I found the Summers technician to be quite confident and knowledgeable about the repairs recommended. I was thrilled to have my a/c fixed by Summers and at an even lower than what was originally quoted.

I don't know if Control Tech was attempting to take advantage of me but they have lost a customer for life!

Darin 305 and Doug did a fantastic job installing a new heating and air conditioning unit at our house. The old unit was in the attic and a difficult job to remove the old unit and lift new unit up into the attic. Did a flawless job--they both worked 11 hours straight- no breaks! Both were very knowledgeable, professional with paid attention to detail. Explained the new unit to us and answered all my wife`s questions. Control Tech has worked on our heating and cooling systems in our house since 1983 and we would not have anyone else!!

We called Control Tech after having a different company out who we felt were trying to sell us things/fix things that "may" be leaking- but couldn't say for sure and wanted to charge an arm and a leg. We were very pleased with the honesty of our tech. He replaced what needed replaced and gave us a "forecast" for what could happen in the next few years Bc of the age of our system. We will definitely have Control Tech back for our next tune-up!

We are so glad we decided to go with Control Tech when we were looking to replace our HVAC unit. They were competitively priced and their customer service was beyond our expectation. Everyone we dealt with, from the person who gave us our quote, to the technicians that came to install, were professional and polite. We would highly recommend them.

Darin provided excellent service during the install process. He made sure that I understood how the system worked, what type of maintenance was needed, what to look for and how to troubleshoot problems, and most importantly, how to reach ControlTech when needed. So far I'm loving the new Mitsubishi ductless system installed in the room above the garage that is the HOT spot in the house.

I had a failed condensing unit and while I still had one system running, the temperature in the house was rising on what had been a string of 90+ degree days and our bedrooms were becoming unusable. Mindy at Control Tech managed to slip us into the schedule on the day that I called. Gabe, who had recently done our routine maintenance, was the assigned tech and when he arrived and we turned the power back on to the unit, it suddenly began working. However, he performed a complete system check and eventually identified a problem (contactor) that was causing it to only work intermittently. He showed me what the contactor was doing and then replaced it quickly. Control Tech installed a complete system in a renovation/addition for us 6 years ago and has been doing our service since that time on all of our units. I would highly recommend them.

Control Tech has been a great company to work with since we purchased a new system from them years ago. The techs who continue to maintain our system are respectful and professional. They do thorough, efficient work.

Our upstairs furnace was not blowing out heat. I called Control Tech and Gabe came out. He was very friendly, efficient and immediately found the problem. He cleaned a sensor and the furnace immediately kicked on. He didn't try to to uncharge me. I tried to tip him and he wouldn't take a tip. This was such a nice surprise to have this incredible customer service. Gabe definitely is an asset to Control Tech.
