Magtek Mechanical Heating & Cooling

Even though we were in the middle of a snow storm, Magtek came out quickly. The service man was very professional and explained as he checked my furnace with what he was seeing and doing. No issues or complaints. This was my first time using them and I’d use them again.

Magtek Mechanical Heating & Cooling replaced my heating and cooling system today. In short, this has been an exceptional experience from start to finish. I am extremely pleased with the end result and I would highly recommend Magtek Mechanical Heating & Cooling if you are in the southwest suburbs of Chicago.

My furnace and AC were about 21 years old and in need of replacement. I did a lot of homework on the subject and had 4 contractors come out to bid the work. Magtek stood out for several reasons:

• The first technician who came out, Paul, listened. Paul sought to understand what I wanted in the job. Paul then walked the job, made suggestions based on his obvious years of experience and came up with a very workable plan. Paul provided 3 options (estimates) which we discussed. This led to 2 additional options of which I selected the final.
• On the day of installation, 2 technicians, Dan and Keith, showed up on time and promptly got to work. A couple of things impressed me with the installation. First, the work was done exactly as Paul and I agreed. Second, Dan and Keith were clearly very experienced. The attention to detail (neat, tight installation, repositioning of a gas pipe, etc) was extraordinary. Paul and Keith treated my home like it was their own.
• Magtek provided quality equipment and service at a fair price. As I mentioned above, I took 4 bids on this work. Magtek was not the least expensive, but they were far from most expensive. As the customer, I walked away feeling good.

Magtek exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend Magtek for HVAC need. Top line outfit.

Paul, was great! The radiant heat system he installed was top. The final product showed a lot of pride in craftsmanship and attention to detail. When he was done the cleanup was complete and to our liking. He provided additional feedback on our remaining existing furnace.

Paul was very helpful in resolving our air conditioning issue. He walked me through everything he was doing as well as offered suggestions for things we might want to consider down the road. He was extremely knowledgeable and helped me understand the best way to maintain our unit for longevity. I will be using Magtek for all our hvac needs.

We had a great experience with Magtek service call. Andre, our tech, conducted a detailed review of our system and cleaned areas that I'm not sure have ever been cleaned. He also took the time to explain things to be aware of with our system's operation and how best to take day to day care of it between professional visits. All in all, it was a truly a service call and not a sales call, which in an experience we've had in the past with other providers. We will definitely be using Magtek on an on-going basis.

Magtek Mechanical is a great company. They got me on the schedule to reinstall my 2 A/C units in a different location very quickly. Paul was super nice, very knowledgeable and got everything done in a day an half. I have used them in the past for my last house and they always do a great job. I will continue to used them for future jobs. Thank you!

I was having an error code on my boiler system and couldn't figure it out. John was my technician. He troubleshooted the boiler and had the problem solved quickly. Would recommend magtek to everyone. Thanks guys

Everything was done to perfection. Joints soldered perfect, unions installed properly. Professional interaction with the wife and myself turning the installation. I worked mechanical quality control for over 35 years. Darryl and Paul are Perfectionism. It's Easily 5+ Stars.

Very professional service was waiting for another shop for 5 days called Magtek had a tech out at 8:00 the next morning Kenny was done within the hour. I will be using them if I decide on a new system. Thanks guys.
