Magtek Mechanical Heating & Cooling

Magtek recently replaced our 20 year old furnace and air conditioner with new, high efficiency equipment. Darryl the owner, and the installers Matt and Sam answered all of our questions. The installation is excellent and we are very happy. We would gladly recommend Magtek to our friends and family.

April 26 2018 had a completely new Heating and cooling system put in. I chose Magtek based on other reviews, price, warranty, and rebates. The Job was done in about nine hours in one day. I am very satisfied with the installation and would recommend them to others. The work area was left very clean and the old equipment taken away. It was nice having Magtek take care of the rebates from Nicor and Com Ed. I tried looking on line myself and it was a little confusing. The crew showed up at 7:30a on time and were very pleasant to be around.

Magtec's technician, Johnny, did a very thorough job in inspecting, cleaning, and test our furnace so it should be trouble free this upcoming winter. In addition, he checked the installed humidifier and explained how to clean / replace the humidifier filter. He asked several times during the service call if I had any questions.
Johnny was very professional and knowledgeable about the operation of the furnace. He is in my opinion an asset for Magtec.

We recently moved to NL and soon after our closing date the AC unit in our house died. It was very unexpected and costly. MagTek was able to get the job done in a timely manner and also provide financing. Fast forward 4 months and when the weather turned we had an issue with our heating system. Paul came out to our home. He was professional and knew exactly what the issue was. Erin in the office was able to coordinate everything and we greatly appreciate her responsiveness and professionalism. The issue is resolved and we will continue to use MagTek for our home.

Magtek was recommended to me by a friend who needed repair work on a home furnace & was happy with their service. I was looking to hire a company who does routine maintenance.

So far, no repairs needed on my fairly new HVAC system but I have used Magtek twice for summer & winter maintenance as well as replacing an Aprilaire filter. I joined their maintenance plan which allows for 2 seasonal HVAC inspections.

I’ve found the technicians knowledgeable, communicative, prompt, informative & thorough. It’s often difficult to schedule seasonal inspections but had no problem arranging dates although their priority is emergency repairs. The company will also notify you when it’s time to make check up appointments. So far, no repair work needed but I will call them should I have HVAC problems in the future.

The technician who serviced my A/C - John - was very professional and nicely accommodated my work schedule. He answered some questions not related to todays visit. Magtek installed my system about 5 years ago and has maintained it since. They always send knowledgeable and professional technicians who never hurry through even routine inspections.

Mag Tek responded quickly and the tech was able ascertain the issue and make the repairs necessary the same day. I have a yearly service contract. I highly recommend this company they are professional and respond promptly

We had Magtek install a whole house backup generator. Vern, the installer, did an excellent job. The work was meticulous. About two minutes after doing the final test, the power went out and the system worked perfectly. In the past three years, Magtek also installed our furnace and AC unit and our garage heater. All three installs were done well.
