My furnace wasn’t working properly and I needed it repaired quickly. The appoint setter gave me the first available that fit my schedule. The tech showed up on time and had the work completed with in 30 mins! Cost effective and friendly service!

So happy I found this place! Came home on a Friday night to a hot house. Called a few minutes before opening hours Saturday (Gary answered), and said they wouldn't be able to fit me in until Sunday. However, he called me back a few minutes later and told me they would be able to send someone over in an hour.

John was amazing! He had come in on his day off to come service my A/C on a day that was supposed to get in the 90s. My unit is about 15 years old, which is how long the average unit should last (the extent of my Google-able HVAC knowledge). Instead of trying to sell me a new unit he was able to replace one part and get us up and cooling within an hour. Will definitely be calling this place again. Thank you!

The repairman came out the same day. He called ahead with an arrival time and was very clear in explaining what service needed to be completed and the cost associated with each component of the repair. Very pleased as my AC is working again!! Thanks for a great service call!

Tech was at my home within two hours. Brian was professional, courteous and knowledgable. He brought shoe covers and put them back on every time he came into my home. Total call was anywhere from 30-40 minutes which included any questions I threw at him. Brian also provided educational suggestions. I highly recommend South Suburban Heating and Cooling. You won't be disappointed!

I had a total of four quotes for a new furnace & AC. Dave's proposal for an upgraded furnace & AC was not only the lowest of the four, it also included a humidifier, new return duct & refrigerate lines. The other proposals were for a standard furnace-AC & did not include the other items. It was easy decision.
The two guys that did the installation did an excellent job.

They installed my furnace and did an excellent job. They also repaired a few out of code items done by other companies. I highly recommend them.

After several other companies could not help because of my outdated furnace from the late 1970's. Initial I was told that the specific unit I needed would take 6 to 8 weeks. Dan came back out and was able to remeasure and successfully put a different unit in. They were very patient with me despite my aggravation. They were all great and I definitely appreciate their work!

The service from the owner through staff and down to the service tech was great. Very responsive and quick service to get the furnace and hot water turned on after the electric had been off for awhile. Temperatures were getting extremely low and getting the systems up and running was very important. The service tech also checked everything out and gave certifications for future sale purposes. I will use the company in the future. Thanks big time.

I had a great experience with the installation of a new A/C system. It works great and I have had no problems. I had them upgrade my air ducts to increase air flow and now I get a lot more air to the upstairs bedroom. Before I replaced my A/C I used to have the brick fall from the chimney each and every year and despite getting a new liner the problem did not go away. South Suburban fixed the problem by installing a metal tube inside the chimney to carry away the hot exhaust gases from the water heater saving me lots of money on tuckpointing. I also carry a maintenance contract with them which provides me with a system check before the start of the winter heating season and another check before the summer cooling season. I recommend waiting until it's hot to get your summer A/C checked. In my opinion these guys are top notch and can solve whatever comfort issues you may have.
