My husband and initially scheduled furnace tune-up with ABC. I have to say, I'm glad that I decided to contact Compass to perform the seasonal tune-up on our furnace. My initial contact started via phone with Mike Wednesday Nov 10, 21. Mike was very professional, and personable. When I advised him we received a welcome to the neighborhood letter from Compass, he welcomed my husband and I again, and appeared happy that we reached out to Compass for their services. This is the type of company we want to pay for services to. We were able to schedule an appointment for the following day - Nov 12, 21 - and Mike advised what technician would show up to perform the services. Joe was our technician. Our appointment time was arranged between the hours of 2pm-4pm. Joe contacted me at 2pm and advised he would arrive around 2:15pm. Although I could not answer Joe did leave a voice message advising he was on the way.
Joe is very thorough with his check and gave us recommendations on what we needed to do to keep our furnace in tip- top shape. Joe was very honest with his findings which my husband and I can appreciate. Not only that he was very nice, personable, and truly understands the definition of great customer service! When I tell you that I prayed the night before that Compass would not be the company to try and sell us products or give us mis information about our unit to make money off us, they are absolutely NOT that company. I actually shared that statement with Joe..lol. Joe is very knowledgable about furnaces which gave us comfort in knowing he arrived at our home to perform his job and perform it well.

Absolutely recommend this company. The owner himself hits the field along with his crew. Very personable and extremely quick to get information out to me to help me make the best decision on my options. When they found out the AC unit accepted for install was not available (due to pandemic shortages) they called the manufacturer and managed to upgrade me to a slightly more efficient unit at no extra cost. They showed up on time, they were very respectful of my home, they worked efficiently, cleaned up after themselves and were professional in demeanor. One of the great parts about using them is they are authorized Diakin dealer. On top of that they do the warranty submission for the units they install. Im happy that I could support a great, veteran owned and operated company! If you want reliability and honest folk, Compass Heating and Air is your very best option!
From the visit with Mike, the owner, on Friday 11/12 to the final installation by Dave and his crew, these people are all about customer service and professional work. All were friendly and hard-working. I will use Compass for the rest of my life and anyone should be very happy with the crew and the work.
Wow! A amazing company! 9a.m. found a large puddle in my laundry room, realized it was a larger problem than I could handle alone. 11:00 call had Mike here by 2 and then Dave & ?(sorry) here by 4 with a new water heater & done by 6. Can't say enough on this prompt, polite and personable service!
Update: Mike Gundersen, the managing partner, gave me a phone call after he had seen the review and wanted to make it right. He offered several solutions. I was impressed because we rarely see dedication to satisfy every customer. Hat off to Mike. Thanks.
Two star for being responsive and professional. However, the pricing is absolutely ridiculous. Was charged $445 for a AC turbo 200 capacitor, which is $100 tops on Amazon/ Home Depot. Plus the $90 service fee. I understand that's how business works but 4x the price on the part itself is just ridiculous. Wasn’t given a price or quote until after repair was performed.
My ac stopped working on the hottest day and at 5pm! Joe at compass heating was great and very professional. He made it out here after hours, and timely. He didn’t leave until he found out what the issue was and had it fixed. Thankfully he was able to fix it that night. I love been a customer for many years and will continue to do so. Very satisfied customer.
Compass Heating and Air has been out to our house 3 times. Mike is extremely professional and goes over everything that he is doing in detail. We couldn't be happier and look forward to doing business with Compass Heating and Air for years to come. As an awesome bonus Compass is a veteran owned company. Its an easy way to give back to individuals whom have already given us so much. If you are looking for a routine service, break/fix service or new installation I highly recommend Mike and his team.
Our furnace problem was originally diagnosed by the Compass tech last Wednesday. We hoped to extend the life of the part until our next credit card billing period, but it failed again this morning. So I called Mike at Compass and he was out about 4 hours later to install the replacement. And since we're contract customers, we enjoyed a 10% discount. Compass is the place to go.
Joe, Mike and Dave were great to work with! They are knowledgeable, professional and just all around great guys. The installation went smoothly and I'm very pleased with the unit (Daikin) I purchased. I can tell that they take pride in their work and doing things right the first time. I definitely recommend. Thank you!
These guys are absolutely top notch. We’ve had three different systems installed by Compass in the last two years. We could not be happier with the workmanship, product and support. Compass installed a Mitsubishi split AC in our nursery two years ago. It works absolutely fantastic. We have recently installed two main systems as well. They work great and are extremely quiet. Compass also fixed a pressurization problem we were having with the house that no one else could fix. Tom and Kyle were fantastic!! I would suggest ending your search here. We will never use anyone else.
