I have used Controlled Comfort twice this year and both times were excellent. Robbie the sales manager gave initial estimate for AC unit and Danielle in the office was working with me on the furnace. Both were more than accommodating in what I needed and wanted to have done and any changes I needed made to the estimate. I'm not sure who did our AC installation but Jason did the furnace installation today and both installations craftsmanship was excellent. You can tell he cares about his work. Both AC and Furnace were reasonably priced. I would recommend this company to others and will continue to use them in the future.
I am retired on a fixed income. It is important for me to get the most and best for the Money I pay for Service. I have used Controlled Comfort for several Years. They work on my AC Unit and Furnace. I have been very pleased with the service there Technicians provide. I have had NO PROBLEMS with Customer Service or any Technician sent to my Home. Over the Many years I have lived in the Cardunal Area, it has been my experience to have used several different Heating and Cooling Service Companies. Controlled Comfort has me as a repeat Customer as long as they keep providing Great Service. and Fair Prices.
I just has Controlled Comfort replace the furnace, humidifier and air conditioner in our house and I couldn't be more happy. Robbie and his crew arrived when they said they would and everything was replaced, cleaned up and thoroughly tested in a timely manner. My thanks to Robbie and his friendly and talented crew. Heck, the office staff even registered my items with Lennox, how about that for service?
We had someone come out because our upstairs AC was not working. We were told it was not repairable and we would be getting a quote to replace it within a day or two. We paid the $98 service fee that would go towards the price of a new unit and then never heard from anyone. I refused to call them back and instead went with a company that did what they said they would do. I called today (5 weeks later) to ask for a refund of the $98. I got an apology and "It was really hot and we were busy" excuse but a refusal of my request for my money back. Poor customer service all the way around. I definitely DO NOT recommend Controlled Comfort HVAC.
This company inspected our home before we purchased, there was a leak and it was fixed. However they did not inform us of the EXTENSIVE water damage within the furnace. Since then we have been informed by two others it should never have passed an inspection and needs to be completely replaced (Keep in mind this furnace is only 4 years old). I called and informed them of this and was told I would need to pay the $89.00 fee and would give us an estimate of what they thought it would be to replace. There was no sympathy, no apologies, or offer to help with the price in any way. They told me to call my lawyer. Saying I would not recommend this company just doesn't go far enough. If I could give no stars I would!
Although they have some skilled technicians, last 2 services were unskilled technicians that left the job half done. Phone operator was also very abrasive, uncourteous and unapologetic when calling in with our concerns. Unless you keep tabs on tasks being performed when they service the furnace they leave the job half done. Not a happy customer.
