i took a day off work and was promised by multiple liars althoff that work would be done. instead paid $90 for a ridiculous quote and more excuses. total scam

When I finally found Althoff could do the work on a 50+ yr old Condo heating/cooling system I had the the best Service Rep Gil Pena. He work with me and my daughter. Rob the installer and Dan did the actual job and they had to work with the condo personnel to get the water shut off so they could take out the old and put in the new. I thought what a mess but these guys were great!! They explained things when questions were asked and where just super!!! The BEST!!

The serviceman, Brenten King, was the best that Althoff has provided me in the last 30 years of my relationship with Althoff.

It took 3 times to fix the same issue, however charged 3 times, all this while we had the maintenance plan!! No warranty on anything that is done as indicated. I would stay away from this company.

Black Diamond told us we had a CO leak through our cracked heating exchange, but didn't tell us exactly how bad it was, and shut our Furnace off. Althoff gave us a Free Second Opinion and sent a tech out within an hour to confirm the diagnosis. They found the levels of CO leaking to be miniscule, checked levels all over the house, and recommended some new CO monitors until we could replace the furnace. This brought our family peace of mind, while we shop for a new furnace

This was a routine maintenance call for our AC. The service tech, Justin, was excellent. He was prompt, courteous, friendly, neat and efficient. We could not have asked for a nicer person. Every point in our contact with Althoff was outstanding from making the appointment to scheduling and keeping us informed on the day of service. It is a pleasure dealing with a company that is so respectful of their customers. This is truly rare nowadays when dealing with many other companies.

Ryne (service technician) was on time very attentive to detail and letting me know why he was doing different tasks. He completed all the tasks . Excellent choice to pick Althoff. Very much better than ABC who 2 years ago said I needed 1200.00 in repairs .

My first experience with Althoff. Technician Brian was especially diligent and knowledgeable. He did work previous maintenance firms skipped. If this experience is typical, I will continue to call on Althoff in the future.

Had a ceiling fan installed which had to be put together, which they said they would do. Quoted it would take 1 hour. The installer said it should take an hour pretty straight forward job
Then he said if it should take more then an hour it would be an additional $35. WELL he took forever to put the Hunter fan together. I could have done it faster. So needless to say, it took him an hour and a half to complete the job.
Then gave us a bill for $252.00, the original price for 1 hour was $244. When I questioned him about the additional $108 he saw it was $35 per every 15 minutes. He did not tell us it was $35 additional for every 15 minute. Ridiculous!! Not happy about the amount of the additional $108. Will rethink about calling them again for things other then yearly maintenance on our air conditioner and furnace which is Included in our premier membership!
