They have been a great company. Had a technician come out for my annual maintenance check up on our heater and although he wasn’t as familiar with a very old heater, he did his very best, and was very thorough in troubleshooting anything that might be an issue.

Pat, I cant say enough about our experience this week with A1. I have trusted your team for our bi-annual service on your MVP program for many years. You have the best people period! It all started this week with an urgency of sorts when System Kleen (recommended by A1 and also awesome people) found our drop down had rusted badly and needed replaced as it had about 6 inches of sand, dirt and rock in the bottom. Note, this issue is likely the cause of my Mycotoxin Disease as verified with Real Time Labs out of Texas who have been working with me on my health issues. Shane came over the very next day to assess the situation. We agreed, it's time for a complete new heating system and I decided to add in a new water heater. Why not? Shane's sales approach was amazing. He assessed the need, made some suggestions and proposed a plan in a time frame that exceeded my expectations. I was instantly comfortable, confident and trusted him completely. Shane rocks! The next day 4 Feb the demo and root canal began. Maddy and Steve were delayed a bit after their demo work so that System Kleen could clean all ducting prior to install. Brilliant call by Shane to do this post demo. They did a great job. The install by Steve, Maddy and team at the sheet metal shop killed it. You and I are very particular with our toys ( cars(me) & boats(you) and the installation details on this job are awesome. During the fall tune-up the tech determined that the blower capacitor needed to be replaced. It was under warranty but I was charged $139 labor - on top of the $109 labor charge for tune-up. He had to open the furnace door to do the tune-up anyway and the time to replace the capacitor would have been minimal. I contacted A-1 through their website contact method with no response. I then sent them an email asking them for an explanation for this excessive labor charge. They would not respond to either contact. A-1 Heating has lost their way - I will not use them again.

Dallas came out to check our furnace and got it working again in minutes. He was friendly and professional. We will definitely use A1 again!

Edit: On 1/6/2023 Aaron came out to fix another issue with our furnace and was amazing. Not only did he fix the problem quickly, but he also took the time to educate me about the problem and answered all of my questions. We will continue to use A-1 in the future as we will soon replace our 30-year-old furnace and a/c unit.

We are extremely grateful for the professionalism and integrity of A-1's crew. We had service this week for an underperforming A/C system and Tyler was exceptional. Not only did he go the extra mile in investigating all potential areas that could be causing the issue, he explained the why behind each one and how he tests each component. He was thorough with service, great with engaging with our curious daughters, and even made a call to get to get the approval to do a full system maintenance as well for us since he noticed we were in need of one.

These guys are top notch professionals. I have them service my heating/cooling system twice a year and have never been disappointed in their service. Their technicians are polite and friendly and know what they are doing. In the eight or nine years I’ve used them I’ve never had a problem. Their office staff are friendly and helpful. My cooling system is really old and the last guy out (Cassey) didn’t bat an eye and took the time to really take it apart and throughly clean it out. I honestly can’t say enough good things about them.

Top notch service; best in the valley. I decided to purchase a new furnace after a 27yo unit failed and was no longer economical to repair. In total I had 4 dealers bid for the job and had originally accepted another company during a high-pressure sales pitch that required an immediate decision to obtain their price. The other company was dishonest about install date and called to cancel on me with 10 minutes notice for our install appointment. Rob Goodman at A1 saved the day and went above and beyond to fix the other company's mess. He pointed out that the other company had a lesser warranty, smaller filter system, and didn't include a thermostat. A1s price bid for the furnace install was spectacular and they arrived right on time with VERY FAST turnaround. October temps were in the teens in Boise and A1 expedites service for their customers with no heat. Robert and Matthew did my install and wore face masks throughout the entire process (COVID safety). They had the furnace I wanted in stock (most dealers in the area have to order), they have a metal shop to build custom ductwork for each install (again, most dealers were using prefab), the labor warranty was no gimmicks, and the code inspection passed with flying colors. Getting multiple bids for a big job can never hurt, but in the future I trust A1 to advise on any competing offers and work with me as my dealer of choice.
