John was very informative of the things that needed work on our unit. He was very thorough and made sure we understood everything. We had an air purifier installed, duct work repaired, and everything went very smooth. I would highly reccomend Old Coast Heating & Air.

Old Coast does a great job of maintaining our HVAC system.

After Coastal Service Experts botched the installation of our upstairs and downstairs units (recycled existing equipment, did not add sufficient return ducts, failed to initiate/submit the warranty and failed city inspection of our downstairs unit) we switched to Old Coast for our maintenance.

John Koen was our technician today. He was knowledgeable, thorough and kept us well informed. He gave me a list of things we need to do to maintain the health and longevity of our system. Most importantly, not only did he tell me I needed an additional upstairs return vent (as others have), he quickly got me a price, explain the installation and got it on the schedule. Glad to have John doing the installation given our experience today.

As he was finishing up, John told me what to remind my next technician to check if they miss the notes. My one suggestion would be - for continuity and consistency - have the same technician return to the same home when one purchases a service contract in advance.

We have recommended Old Coast to two new neighbors on our block and will continue to do so. Keep up the good work.

I was unhappy with the previous company maintaining our HVAC system and decided to try Old Coast. Not knowing what to expect, I was very pleased with the service Gary provided to us. He seemed to have a good grasp of our system and what it needed. The tray pad was an excellent idea and I chose to add it. Gary was very personable and informative. When I also learned of the dryer vent cleaning service that was also available to us, I included it as the coil is difficult for me to access and I was concerned about the possibility of a house fire. I would definitely recommend Gary and Old Coast to anyone and intend to have him back next year.

John Koen was remarkable. He went above and beyond in both his thoroughness in completing the job and in making sure I was satisfied. After hearing asthma was behind my desire to have the system cleaned, he not only cleaned it to within an inch of its life... he then stayed late to do additional work so that everything could be done in the same service call. And he worked to get me some discounts when I disputed some of the costs included. All this aside, the quality of John’s work and his work ethic is why I will be using Old Coast in the future. And definitely asking for John!

I purchased a home full of surprises. Old Coast came out within 48 hrs of my initial call to service an old dirty system.
After being given several options, I decided to replace the entire system. The initial repair person was great, but he didnt leave until Anthony came to take a look and provide information on a new system. Days later, a total system replacement happened and everything went well. Anthony once again came by and did a post-install inspection a couple of days later to answer question and check the work. Three weeks later due to no fault of theirs, one item that was not replaced (water pump) was faulty and filled the house with a burning smell.

I called Old Coast after hours and while the helpline could not "guarantee" someone would come...Technician John was here within an hour.

Anthony was on standby to help again and again. John made a special trip across town to get the replacement part and spent another hour + until it was working and everything was comfortable again.

I cant say enough good things about this company. If youre shopping around just call them. Everyone from the scheduler to the helpline to the techs, installers and management have customer service figured out! Thank you!

We have used Old Coast several times in the past and will continue to use them for all of our HVAC needs in the future.
From the beginning when Jonathan came and inspected the issues that we were having with our old unit , to when Anthony came and helped us decide what equipment we needed and which unit was the right fit for our budget and our home . Then Hector and his crew came and quickly and efficiently installed the new unit . It was a seamless and very professional process from beginning to end. I had to call Old Coast Heating & Air when I noticed leaking coming from the AC vent directly beneath the AC unit in the attic. I called on a Friday, and they were able to come out Saturday morning. Unfortunately, I was wasn't able to be there for the appointment and he had to take his lead from my teenage son. The technician was very professional and called me to explain the problem and gave me detailed repair options. He was even willing to contact my home warranty company for me to see if the work was covered. As a working mother of three, with my husband deployed, it sometimes feels impossible to get everything done. I really appreciated his flexibility and willingness to go the extra mile for us. He was even able to give us a military discount! I feel very reassured that we've chosen an excellent company for our AC repair and maintenance needs. With all the activity, I neglected to get his name, but our technician was wonderful and I'd like to thank him personally for his patience in dealing with our busy family!

After some malfunctions the team was very responsive and attentive with resolving my A/C issues. Even installed a temporary portable AC for the time it took for parts to get in. John did an incredible job fine tuning the unit and making sure it worked to its full potential. Great and professional company.

I am extremely satisfied with the quality of service and the technician. Old coast is very responsive. Gary was on time and friendly. He explained everything needing repair and was very knowledgeable. Once complete, he cleaned up the work area and explained the bill.
