Poor communication on delivery. Then tried to send a 52' OTR truck to my house when I clearly made note to deliver by bobtail. Then got a call and set up delivery. My wife took off work to receive. When we called about ETA. Trucking Company said Parker Davis told them to return unit. This is a unit I paid in advance ming you. I would not recommend because of this reason. Also after much research they aren't one of the better units just cheaper. Not one call explaining thier side.

Atrocious Customer Service & Poor Quality Product. Do your homework and read all reviews across various social media outlets before buying from this company. Purchased two split systems. One failed within five months of purchase. Live customer service could not help. Spoke to three reps. When asked to speak to a supervisor each stated there are no supervisors or managers in their department. Received an email address for the warranty dept - no live person to speak with. Created an email explaining the situation. Was told "More than 90% of the time, causes of the claims are due to reasons other than the quality of the product or its components"... But then stated...."the failure in my case may well be due to a manufacturing defect from the manufacturer of the compressor".... they replaced the compressor (see below) but would not cover any additional technician/install fees. The unit was down for approximately one month in which time I had to buy window units. The situation required three visits from a licensed HVAC technician that spent hours on the phone with Pioneer. Troubleshooting was a nightmare. They initially misdiagnosed the issue, sending out a circuit board which didn't fix the problem. Then sent out a new compressor. Never once did this company state to our tech that the circuit board was a first attempt and may not work (as they later stated in their email). Additional bills from my licensed technician of $835 were incurred during this process as well as an awful customer experience (not to mention the cost of the additional window units). Once warranty rep sent his email, I sent two additional notes requesting the name, email address and phone number of the VP. I was quickly told that she travels around to the various manufacturing plants and would not be able to help so the information would not be provided. I asked one last time and was told that my case was closed and there was nothing else they would do. Told me to refer to the warranty manual if I had any additional questions. Lastly, they would not answer any additional concerns/questions on this topic. From there I researched the company online, got the VP and President's names and email addresses, sent them each a note that included my phone number. I requested an email or phone call back to discuss the situation and never heard back from the company. Once I went onto social media, it was clear that I was not the only one that has had such a horrific experience. In fact, the experiences of other consumers are quite similar. Take out the less than stable product from this company and look at the overall customer experience.

The web-linked remote control basicly works as expected. Installation was not difficult, but I consider my self somewhat skilled in electronics. There are inconsistencies among various documents and implementations -- for example "AH' in some places and "8C" in others (both corresponding to a 46F setting when away from home). The unit arrived quickly, and the tracking was much better than when I had ordered the minisplit heat pump itself.
-- Several things I would like: (1) read out the current temperature on the remote (2) be able to set away from home at <46F
-- Your request for this response was highly insecure. If I had adopted best security practices, I would have simply deleted your unsolicited email asking me to click on links.

These guys showed great customer service in spite of a wildfire. I ordered some parts about a month ago but the parts could not be delivered due to wildfires in the area of CA I was in. The delivery got lost somehow but they saw that the order was not completed and reachout. Within minutes they resent the parts and they arrived within 48 hours. The part I really appreciated is how much effort they made to reach out to me the customer versus me tracking them down. Very well done Parker Davis.

So far technical support is completely non existent i have a simple quest about a ducted mini split I purchased. The first guy that answered after a long hold didn’t not know the answer and transferred me and the phone rang and rang with no answer . Called back the next day right at opening time so far on hold for an hour . While on hold you get two recorded messages at the same time very confusing and so far I’ve been caller number 1 waiting to speak with a representative for 30 minutes .This company is horrible they don’t care about customers after you buy unit

Really good product (Mini-Split Heat pump) I installed it myself with the help from a friend and it works great. The install was not too hard but I would suggest you be very handy and have some common sense. One thing that I wish was in the box would be a template to locate the hole through the wall. I will be buying another one soon.

Just purchased 3 compressors and 4 indoor units from PD, in the process of installing, but thus far ordering, shipping and support have been top shelf. Online chat was prompt and helpful. Will update review when installed.

I have purchased several of these units to install. I'm not an A/C expert by no means but everything works good. You will be really happy with the savings on your cooling bill. I have 3 units in a 1200 square ft building with separate rooms. It lowered my bills by at least 2/3. Thanks for the fast shipping and customer support .

The system shipped quickly, the freight company (R+L Carriers) were extremely professional and there was absolutely no damages.
The system was easily installed and is working better than expected.
I will gladly recommend this product to friends and family.
