Pioneer mini splits are definitely the choice to make when it comes to mini splits. Parker David is the only company to deal with as far as I am concerned. Great service at a great price and delivery was as good as it gets

Bought a pioneer 12btu 19seer heat pump to cool my 450 sqft den and it just never could between 4pm and 10pm in last summer. The heat pump never worked so i just usex space heater and wood burning stove. This spring it never came back to life, less than 1 year old and having hell getting it fixed. They sent me a new inverter board per my ac technician but it did nothing so they have offered me a new compressor or will sell me new outside unit for $350 and I pay shipping , which cost about 150.00 . Cost to install compressor 400.00. My experience teaches me that Pioneer mini splits SUCK AS MUCH AS PARKER DAVIS WARRANTY.

This is my second unit purchased. I’m extremely pleased with the ease of installation as well as the awesome customer service. The product is very well built. Unbelievable cooling capability. The unit is also very quiet during operation.

bought a system, used it 6 weeks and stored it for 2 yrs. They mounted the inductor too close to the copper lines and it shorted out and i had to pay for the parts. Now it blew the the computer board too! i had to buy a new one, no coverage!!! now im waiting and waiting for the part and even talked to joe reyes and he said he would get back to me and ive heard nothing!!!!! now get the board installed and the compressor is gone. this better be on warranty!! it says 5 yrs when i bought it and it only been 3.5yrs. now the compressor blew. BUYING A DAIKIN, nobody will return my emails. A joke of a company.10yr warranty with DAIKIN!!!!

Ordered a Pioneer Mini Spit AC Unit in January. Arrived, but unit assessed as defective by licensed AC Technician. Although the Customer Service and Technical personnel are very pleasant, they are not authorized to pick up defective unit and replace with a new working unit. Communication is poor. We have had 4 different technicians out, with same prognosis.
Their solution is to send you replacement parts and you pay to have tech out to install. No replacement parts have worked.
The last offer was to send out a new compressor which requires soldering and rewiring, with no guarantee that this will fix it. OR, this is the kicker. They will send out a new outside unit if we pay them $600 plus shipping.
When asked for the name of the President and his telephone number, we were told he was out of town at a conference. Asked for his secretary, and she too is out of town at a conference.
This company also has a 14% investor, Sharp Corporation, which from experience would never treat customers with such disdain.
The last comment from the very pleasant technician at PD, was his first attempt to divert the problem away from the defective equipment and blame damage to this unit on the licensed installer.
Our $1,000 investment has now grown to over $1,600. Unit still does not work.
We are not paying $600 for a unit that arrived defective. But I do intend to contact the Consumer Protection Agency in Florida, Attorney General's Office in Florida, Senior Management within Amazon and Sharp, Inc.
Please note they are not a member of the Better Business Bureau. The one complaint listed was responded to by PD's attorney accusing the complaintant of Defamation of Character.
I suggest you pay a bit extra for any units you are considering and work with a more reputable company. This company has a bad process!!!!!! Go to LinkedIn and you will see they have had several Presidents. ??????
If they do not want to resolve this issue quickly and to our satisfaction, I have several other avenues to pursue.
I have read their reviews, on Amazon. I do not believe any of them.

I Bought two, Both leaked, Blue Hose swivel to canister actuating valve was not air tight.
As one should not breathe the content, Good Fitting are essential.

Had a slight issue with the shipper missing 2 of the line extension sets, but they found them in the warehouse and delivered them the next day, otherwise it was a fast and flawless process. Now to the install!
