Cox Heating & Air Conditioning

I’ve been using Cox AC since they responded to an emergency call at my parents condo on the beach in Clearwater.’ Eddie was the tech who responded.He was honest and knowledgeable and Truly interested in making it right. I have requested him ever since to work on my own house. Trust him 100% with my system highly recommend him as my tech. He doesn't try and sell the add one but does care about his work and making sure the system is functioning at optimal levels. He does it right the first time .

So impressed! An A/C tech from another company preformed a service check this morning. He found nasty mold.Luckily a friend stopped by. The tech proposed purchasing an ultraviolet light to get rid of unhealthy mold.

Our friend suggested a second opinion from Cox Air. Boy oh boy, did they deliver.Within the hour their tech arrived and assured us there was no mold.
Provided a full inspection. Great business!

My A/C unit was clogged up and dripping water out of the pan. I’ve used another company for a few years to keep service but due to the covid-19, I tried to contact them to help me out. No answer on any of there phone numbers. Just a generic message. Nothing about if they are out of business or temporary closed. Their website had no info about whether they were open or not. After two days of no call backs I had enough.
So I called Cox and they sent “Barney #25” out for a service call. He did a fast clean professional job of servicing my ac unit. 5 Stars***** to Cox H & C. You earned a new customer as I will never seek to use the previous company or any other but Cox. The price you gave me on the phone was spot on and honest checkup of my A/C system. Did not try to add any unnecessary work to charge more money. Very nice to deal with a a straightforward company.

Thank you Joe for going the extra mile!!! Our Commercial AC went out on a Friday afternoon - we are open 7 days a week... Joe realized we needed a part and at 3:45 most places were already closed for the weekend. He made 2 stops found the part and we had cool AC by 5:00pm. We are very happy with the many years of service Cox has provided for us!

I called Cox Air early on a weekday after my air went out over night. They scheduled the appointment quickly and gave me a good estimate as to when they would be able to have someone out. The tech, Eric, arrived right on time, and got right to work. He had the problem figured out in 10 minutes, and repaired in 15. After thoroughly checking all the other components of the system, he was able to take my credit card payment right from his truck. I am very pleased with the quality of service and honesty provided.

We had our A/C go out and called Cox Air Conditoning and they came out within an hour, provided an estimate, ordered the part, picked it up, installed the part and we had cold air again with 5.5 hours and here in Florida you don’t want to be without cold air.
I can’t be more thankful for their prompt service!
The gentleman, Eric who worked on our unit, was very courteous and professional.
Their customer service cannot be beat ... the office staff is the absolute best!

Excellent customer service, fair and competitive prices, and reputable company. This is the company I should have gone with initially, now I rely on them to fix the mess from another air-conditioning company. Sales representative Mike King, was professional and knowledgeable. If you want great customer service, job done right, and peace of mind go with Cox air-conditioning and ask for Mike, or you can go with the company I went with that installed a defective outside unit, used less than adequate parts and kept me waiting for over 3 weeks to switch out unit.

Cox AC provided superior service and customer Service. In addition, as a retired military officer, it gives me great pleasure to do business with an organization that recognizes those who have served By offering a military discount. Eddie, who was the technician, was on time, professional, informative and courteous. He explained everything that he found wrong with the unit, the cost to repair and when it would be fully operational.I would highly recommend Cox AC based on the service I received.

This is an edit / update to the unfavorable review I posted last week.
Turns out my frustration was a miss understanding. Cox turned everything around . Not only did they get the air up and running . I had them do maintenance on the unit. The staff is great , Paula took me thru every step. Everyone should know , no overtime on Saturday’s before 5pm. If you need service on the weekend call Cox heating & air . The techs are seasoned pros . Highly recommend

Updating my recent service as of 9/18/2020. I had Tommy do the service. A++++++. Incredible efficiency and professionalism!!! Thank you Paula and Tommy and all the representatives of Cox!!!! 6/20/22 update Tommy EARLY to appointment. The BEST service in the world. Incredible. i normally don't do many reviews but Cox is incredible and Tommy is one of a kind. Incredible company!
