Cox has been my AC service provider for nearly two decades, and here's why: Everyone on the Cox team gives you 100% of their best effort every time you call. From the friendly voice (SANDY) on the phone to the super techs (like our EDDIE) who arrive on site, Cox will earn your business over and over again. You're never taken for granted as a customer. I also like that Cox is locally owned and operated. The owners are good people and they hire great people who stay with the company for years. You can trust their word and their work.

We placed a call to Cox when system showed error message and stopped cooling, within 15 minutes Jim the on Call Tech called to let us know he would be there shortly. We have used Cox for 10 years and as always, the service was performed promptly and professionally. I recommend Cox to anyone needing HVAC service. Cox air conditioning is a trustworthy, honest company that provides excellent service. My air handler went out at the peak of our warm season; Mike, Jo and Vinny took great care of us. They arranged to replace the air handler within 1 week and in the interim provided us a temporary cooling system which kept us comfortable. Their work was precise, tidy and efficient completing the job in less than 2 days. Furthermore, their pricing was fair and competitive. I've had a service contract with Cox for 10 plus years after they installed a new A/C system and they have always been extremely responsive, honest and very interested in my satisfaction. I only wish other businesses had the same concern for their customers satisfaction. I called with my A/C issue after-hours and left a non-urgent service request and Cox had a technician out the next morning. A part was ordered and we had A/C the same day the part came in. Amazing service. Also, Pat the Service Manager is outstanding. He's first class guy that focuses on doing the right. I don't know much about the workings of an A/C system, so having a trusted company do the work is really important to me.

Cox was great for 3 years of maintenance when there were no issues. Always on time and professional. I thought I had contracted with "experts". I couldn't have been more disappointed when I began experiencing problems with my air conditioning after my tile roof began leaking and I installed an asphalt roof. I changed how much heat was accumulated in my house.
My AC was set to 76 during the day and when I returned the temp read 80-81. On Cox first trip to my place they said I needed a new fan. Although they didn't have exactly the right fan they would install something that would work for the low price of $800.
The problem continued so I called them again and they right away said the problem was that the wrong fan was installed and they could install the right one for $400 more and that would solve the problem.
The problem persisted! After letting them know this, they sent a supervisor and tech who did a "Thorough" inspection. They said that installing the right fan was the correct answer, they acknowledged I still had a problem but did not know what the issue was! There was nothing they offered to do! Experts - I think not!!!!
Since then Duke and 2 other companies have checked out the issue. When I told them the price of the fan and my experience they winced and said the price I was charged was far above the norm". These 3 experts all came to the same conclusion. The AC unit was working OK so it has to be a breach in the ducts or insufficient insulation - each offered this opinion without knowing what the other had said.
I am now on a path to have the problem corrected with $1200 less to put towards the right solution. Before you make any major decisions about your AC, do some shopping and possibly add Duke into your due diligence.
Cox is NOT a company I would recommend - they do NOT stand behind their work and they do not seem to have the expertise required to solve a relatively common problem.

In 2016 I had Cox install my new AC. They did a fair job for the price, about average with their competition. Low and behold right after the warranty ran out I needed service. I called them starting at around 5:30pm on Monday 4/26/2021 and got put on eternal hold from their recorded phone service. Again and again I would call and I would hold for at least 10 minutes, still no answer. I tried several times and the same result! If they don't need the business it must be nice because I surely needed my AC working. The joke is on them though because I figured it out and it turned out my drain line was clogged, I used a vacuum, cleaned it out and it's working again. Just think of how much money they would have made off me if they had answered. I guess I should be thanking them...

I’ve been a loyal customer of Cox Heating and Air Conditioning for over 20 years. They have always been excellent in service and responsiveness. I especially have to commend their technician, Eddie, who has serviced my heating and A/C units for several years. He always does such a thorough job and is exceptionally neat and organized. The pipes and connectors by my handlers looked a mess until Eddie was assigned to my job. He is always punctual and extremely trustworthy. But most importantly, he knows what he’s doing and knows how to fix any type of problem that arises. You can trust your heating and A/C service to Cox!

I called Cox this afternoon to fix my AC that had stopped working. Every aspect of the experience was excellent. The service manager called me back promptly and gave me an ETA for his tech's arrival. The tech, Jim, got to the house on time. Jim was extremely professional, friendly and thorough. He took the time to review the repairs needed and showed me where my issue was. He fixed the problem quickly and even did a system check up while on site. Thank you so much to Jim and the entire Cox team for taking great care of my family's needs. You guys are the best in the business.

Our A/C shut down completely today. I called Cox and was told they would have a repairman out in 30 minutes. I didn't believe it could be that fast. But it was. It was a simple problem, and Joe, the repairman, fixed the A/C very quickly and efficiently. He left, and the whole job from the time I placed the call to the time he left was about one hour. The A/C was back on, and everything was running fine. I was amazed. I thought for sure it would be at least until the next day before anyone could come out to fix it. Fortunately, they had someone already in the area who was able to come right over. Regardless, it was the BEST service I have ever had out of an air conditioning company since we moved into our home in 1991. Cox installed our new air conditioning system about a year and a half ago. I wish I had used this company sooner.

Compliments to Zach Moskowitz ,the owner,for running a wonderful team .Everyone from the beginning to the end are organized and totally involved in making sure all your heating and air conditioning needs are met and and taken care within a timely manor. You get a phone call when the tech is on the way,or even if he’s running late !! Eddie Torres the tech we worked with is amazing .Easy to work with,and very reliable ! Do not hesitate to call Cox. We have been working with them for over 15 years and would never consider calling any other company. Thanks Zach for a job ,as always.well done !!
