You Guys Rock! Have been relying on Cox for over 30 years to install and maintain service on the air conditioning and have never been disappointed. Sandy, Donna and the entire service technicians group have always provided prompt professional services.

Last evening, the air conditioner in our parents condo stopped working. We called, and after speaking with the answering service as it was after 6p.m., we were contacted by Andrew, a technician within 10 minutes. After speaking with Andrew, we decided to have someone come the next morning.
Within 15 minutes after speaking with Andrew, Paula called to schedule an appointment for 8-8:30 a.m. the next morning. I was relieved to know someone would be there first thing in the morning!
My parents said the technician arrived before 8:30 and apologized stating he would have arrived earlier had it not been for traffic. He had the issue figured out and resolved within an hour!
I cannot thank Cox enough for their courteous, expedited service, and for their professional, courteous staff!

UPDATED 8/12/13:--------------------------------I received a phone call from Zach, the president of Cox. He explained that Dan is a new field manager, and there were some technical difficulties with him getting into his voicemail. He apologized for the miscommunication, and assured me that they're doing everything they can to prevent this from happening again. I was impressed that, despite a mailed letter to the president/owner stating that they didn't need to do anything further, that he still called to try to smooth it over.

As such, I've bumped the rating back to three stars, and will give them another try when the next need arises.---------------------------------------------------------------------UPDATED 8/8/13: --------------------------------------------------Not a single phone call or email reply. Instead, within hours of me sending off my feedback on their website, my tenant calls to let me know their guy is en route. Ok. Finally, some progress. That was on 8/2. I hear nothing from Cox. Normally, one would expect an estimate, or some other heads up as to what the repair will cost. Instead, a week later, I get an invoice in the mail. No heads up, no alternative, nothing.

I've correspondingly lowered my 2-star to a 1-star. This is the last time I will do business with Cox Air Conditioning & Heating.
------------------------------------------------------ ORIGINAL REVIEW: --------------------------------------I've been using Cox exclusively for nearly 15 years on my home residence and rental properties in Pinellas and Pasco. They've always been fair with pricing, and honest, and did good work. Thus, it pains me to write this negative review.

Nearly a week ago, I called Cox to forward a concern from one of my tenants. They said they'd contact the tenant to set up an appointment. It's now been 6 days, at least 4 calls, and the tenant hasn't hear anything from Cox. Reluctantly, I've asked the tenant to call Cox directly and schedule the appointment themselves.

To make matters worse, this tenant has been in the property for less than a month. At a time where the tenant-landlord relationship of trust is first formed, it is critical that problems be dealt with immediately. At this point, my tenant is left with impression that I'm stringing him along - making my problem his.

Perhaps I've been spoiled with the way they treated my account up until this most recent event. I've sent a complaint to Cox via their website, and based on their response I will change rating accordingly (though I will not delete these initial comments).

After many years with a local/national Air Conditioning company, which had failed over the years, I tried out Cox Air Conditioning with a estimate for a new Carrier system. Thanks to Kerri Ann, I got and estimate THOUSANDS less than the prior National company who I had been with for years and yes for exactly the same thing. Then the real test, the install. Steven, Terrell, Eddie installed the system in one day and removed the old one. Carrier 18VS Heatpump works perfectly! No problems. No BS! Just great people!

All I have to say is WOW! The team at Cox absolutely Rocks! When my A/C went out I was certain it was going to be a disaster to have it replaced, not to mention a huge expense. I was definitely proven wrong here.

The speed, precision, and quality of work performed by the team at Cox air was impressive to watch and the results are indeed COOL! Everyone you speak to at the company seems to be an expert at HVAC and genuinely cares are getting you the right solution, not necessarily to most expensive. Choosing a service provider you can trust is most important to me, Cox Air is the best in the business as far as I'm concerned.

Very professional, helpful and reasonable. I have been using these guys since I moved to Dunedin 1.5 years ago. Every one of the guys is friendly and does what he can do keep costs to a minimum. I'm very pleased to have found them on the first try... until I needed them over the New Years Eve weekend. Called Friday before and Monday before, returned my call on Thursday after another vendor came on the same day that I called the day before. It wasn't an emergency, I just had to replace buckets of water over their 6 day weekend, but enough to show me that I can't rely on them to respond in a timely manner unless I cry wolf. - UPDATE - to be fair they have tried to rectify their answering service issues and called me to straighten things out.

My blower motor went out overnight and I reached out to Cox Heating and Air. By 8:30 I had Dan calling me saying they could have someone at my house between 9:30-10:30. The tech Dale was very professional. He arrived and quickly assessed the unit and was off to get the replacement part. Dan called me back with a full out the door price that was very reasonable. Dale came back promptly with the motor and installed it. He checked my whole AC unit over to ensure it was operating to its fullest potential. Zachary Moskowitz runs a very professional company and I will be using them again in the future my all my Heating and Air needs.

I just wanted to thank Cox Air for their professional conduct on my ductless air system. Skills can be imparted, but the will to persist and persevere is inborn… a talent you have been blessed with. Well done. After several attempts to isolate the problem they came up with the problem area and totally replaced the defective part in a timely fashion. Thanks again for your service.

We were very happy with the complete system they put in at a reasonable price. Called and asked if they could reduce the air flow coming out of the registers. Was told that it was possible to change the speed of the motor. I checked and the motor had only one speed I thought but it is a 3 speed motor and the serviceman said he changed it to the second speed. still to much air. Will call to solve the problem.
